novadose71
Haven't posted here in a year or so. I was posting some progress on this when I disappeared, here's the finished product. AMT 62 annual glue bomb kit with Modelhaus wheels, tires, bumpers, grilles and drivers A-pillar from their convt windshield frame. Factory colors were used on the body and I took liberties on the interior colors. More builds to come as time permits. oldscool
Pure perfection! This is one of the cleanest and most precisely built car models I have ever seen. This shows that you don't need a state of the art kit to produce greatness. Everyone should view this thread. grumpy gus

george 53
Quite a while back, I converted a Converable of this model into a hardtop by useing the roof from a 64 Impala. My brother in law had a real one and I ALWAYS thought the three toned leather seats were the MOOK! You did a GREAT job on this save! It's probably THANKING you right now for that! GREAT save, it came out JUST RIGHT!!!!
novadose71
Thanks guys. Here's a link to my unorganized build album showing what I started with. Other than the A-pillar and some glue marks in the seats it cleaned up real nice. http://s202.photobucket.com/albums/aa33/burninrob6/62%20Pontiac%20Bonneville/?start=all
