  1. White LEDs can be run by one 3025 "computer" battery. If you have more than two LEDs you should have an additional battery.
  2. I second MrObsessive, if you have the ability to post here then you should be able to find reference photos on the interwebs for just about any project.
  3. hmmm, that MEL block looks like the precursor to a fomoco 352/390/428 block, that may be a decent starting point for a conversion. regarding the y-block valve covers on MEL heads....I bet some genius made a mounting bolt conversion bracket that allowed y-block alloy valve covers on the MEL heads.

  15. I have found wrapping 28ga wire around a pin or needle makes appropriate sized throttle return springs and you can make them as long that way as you like. remember to google image search carbs if you really want to get your PE dressed carbs to look like the real thing.
  16. I second that, looking forward to seeing how the "Thundertruck" turns out.
  17. I suggest '66 GTO tail lights in a rolled pan. I also suggest radius-ing the corners of the fenders. You could also try some graphic design ideas like I did with your head lights...play with a photo of the rear by pasting different tail light ideas on various spots to see what hits the sweet spot.
  18. I'm guessing not street legal in all 50 states...just sayin...
  19. hmmm, the headlights in that position seem to be fighting with the flow of your concept, have you considered mounting those light assemblies to the front fenders below the level of the top of the fender? kinda like this...
  20. This car brand was actually popular enough to get referred to in a song that was popular back then. If you want obscene grillwork, check out the '53 Die Valkyrie.
