Very cool Bruce. Certainly a kit that I never knew of.
  2. Another great looking save! Great work.
  3. Thanks for posting. I am sure these will go for a few more pennies than I have in my bank account.
  4. Great job on the group Bill. All of them look great!
  5. Great work Michelle. It's too bad the body twisted on you.
  6. Great job! Looks very nice.
  7. I think I have about 100 - 120 un - built kits and about that many built kits. When I get to the point I cannot build them anymore or lose interest in the hobby, I will start selling the kits, tools and supplies. The kits that are built, I imagine the kids may take a few that mean something to them or to have a memory. The rest of the built kits, tools and supplies will likely go in the estate sale. If anything is left over after the sale, I imagine it will be thrown away. The thought of a lot of that stuff being thrown away makes me a bit sad, but I will not be around, so however my wife or the kids want to take care of this stuff is up to them. I know of a person who put in his will almost all of his possessions and he expected his heirs to keep this stuff. As I state above, it is sad to think about some of this stuff being thrown away, but I cannot do to my family what the person I knew did to his.
  8. You may want to consider trimming one of the trees they use to get onto or off of the roof. We had the same problem a few years ago and it sounded like a rodent track meet on the roof at times. I thought it was kind of funny and cute until I realized they can crawl up the chimney very easily and then get into the fireplace and maybe into the house. I remember a former co - worker telling me how squirrels got into the house of one of his friends and the damage they caused was extensive. Insurance doesn't cover this because it is damage caused by vermin and they exclude this kind of loss, so it's not something to take lightly. We called a tree trimmer and he trimmed the tree they used to get off of the roof. It was interesting because they once their exit was taken away, they stopped getting on the roof even thought the other tree still gave them access to the roof. With rodents, you often don't know you have a problem until it's too late.
  9. I enjoy the looks of these old Ferraris. You did a great job on this one.
  10. Great looking model and an excellent idea to build it as a tribute to a fallen officer.

  17. Very cool little Pontiac!
  18. Yes it is. Also have the MPC kit in the closet. Will build that one of these days.
  19. Great looking build. I really like it.
  20. I have done it before without any problems. Here is an example.
  21. Very nicely done. Great paint and decal work!
  22. Growing up, I was never a fan of Lauda's. I liked David Hobbs a lot and seem to recall Hobbs saying that Lauda's nickname was the Rat. Hobbs went on to say that the nickname was well deserved. Obviously, if my memory is correct, these two did not like each other. But Lauda, and the other drivers of this time, drove when it was expected that at least one driver would lose his life each year and at least one champion was crowned posthumously. Some call this time the Golden Age of F1 racing. I beg to differ. As I became more educated on F1 racing of this era, I developed a deep respect for all of the drivers of this era. The bravery these men exhibited was immense. Rest in Peace Niki Lauda. Racing has lost one of its giants.
  23. Holy smokes! I am not sure there are enough words to describe his work.
