  1. You really did not miss out on anything. That was a very miserable 3 - 5 months depending on the part of the country one lived.
  2. Is he married? We have lived in our neighborhood for about 28 years and have witnessed some odd habits. For some of the neighbors it was because he had to get away from the other half for a while. For the other neighbors, they were just odd.
  3. I saw Jim's post above about the Uni-Ball pens and bought a 3 pack on Amazon. I tried the pen out on a tire and it looks great!!
  4. Really nice work. Great job!
  5. Great job! As Bruce says, that one is definitely a blast from the past.
  6. Powerslide decals are scaled to fit the kits. The Revell Chevy SS is 1/24 scale. If the diecast is the same scale, they should fit.
  7. Very nice. The paint work is spectacular!
  8. Very sharp looking! The colors really pop.
  9. Sad, very sad. He did outstanding work.
  10. I don't mean for this to hi-jack Ray's comment, but Elmer's will dry with a gloss sheen, so you will likely want to cover it with some kind of clear coat to even out the paint and the glue.
  11. Super nice! The weathering is outstanding.
  12. Very nice Gary. Really outstanding work.
  13. Thanks again for the kind words. I really appreciate it.
  14. Great job! It looks really nice.
  15. Well, anyone who can plunk down $11,000.00 for a diecast model has a lot more disposable income than I do.
  16. Great job Bruce! You are right, this was the Labonte family BGN car.
  17. Looks great. I have seen a couple of these on the roads lately. They are different, but cool looking.
  18. Looks very nice. As I recall, the Luminas had the option of different grill openings for a couple of years. I think in this case, the grill would have restricted air flow and may have improved down force.
  19. Great looking model. I have not heard Steve's name in a long time.
  20. Great looking build - well done!
  21. Very nicely done. The paint and the detail work are superb.
  22. Looks real nice!
  23. Looks real nice!
  24. Proofreading is a skill that is not taught anymore. It used to be that newspapers were impeccably proofed before they went to print. In the local newspaper, there will be spelling or grammatical errors that occur with enough frequency that it is no longer humorous. I also read an article recently where businesses are having to train new hires to write letters and memos. The person quoted in the article said that schools are not teaching this skill with enough frequency that it is making a lasting impression. The person went on to say that one new hire, who was a college graduate, used "cuz" instead of "because" in an internal company memo. This was the company's "aha" moment that they had to start a training program to address this. How this decline has happened in the span of only two generations is as breathtaking as it is sad.
