  1. If that database had a large and significant failure as I am interpreting from this thread, it could be a long time before it is back up. I have created small databases that became corrupted and the time it took to fix the problems was considerable. This would be a large database and I am sure the people who created it and maintain it have lives outside of the database. So they take care of this in their spare time. To fix this, one would have to devote a lot of time and and do it in large chunks at a time. This would not be something one does 30 minutes here and there.
  2. Thanks for the info. Do you recall the price? I am not a fan of Toyota at all, but I may want to build Truex's championship car.
  3. Looks great Scott. That was my first car. Couldn't wait to get rid of it when we traded for a new car in 1986, but now I kind of wish I still had the Matador.
  4. Excellent work Bruce.
  5. Really outstanding! Top drawer workmanship.
  6. Outstanding group of Vettes.
  7. Very impressive. The detailing is outstanding.
  8. Very nice looking model! That space ship got beat up in the movies and your weathering looks convincing.
  9. Looks good Scott. Amazon sells glow in the dark paint. You may want to look at that as a possibility to get the effect from the model you are looking for.
  10. Neat looking picture Dan.
  11. Great article Pete.
  12. There are models that just kick our butts sometimes. Your model looks quite good in my opinion.
  13. Looks very nice!
  14. Very cool model. Would love to see the video.
  15. Really stellar work! Looks fantastic.
  16. Thanks Nick. My wife made the same points you did, and you are both right. The one thing that really surprised me was how easily the pickup rode up on top of my car. I remember a number of years ago when the safety wonks were making noise about mismatched bumpers and how one car could easily ride under another in a crash. I kind of scoffed at what they were saying at the time, but the truck never went more than about 2 - 3 mph and it just rode up more than a quarter of the hood. Had that collision been at speed, it would have been real bad. If nothing else, I am getting a much safer car, and in the end, that probably makes it all worth it.
  17. Really superbly built Bruce. Great job!
  18. Very cleanly built - great job!
