  1. well finally got some work done after the weekend i had. got the filler sanded down on the front fenders and some finish sanding around the door handles. i also got some more work done on my booth. got my resevoir made and dug out a compressor i had that needed a little work and got it going again. plan to attach my fans and blower and run the flew duct tomorrow if i can manage to get to it. pics to come. i keep forgetting to charge my camera.
  2. my room/ area now but with my completed paint booth and my future display area i have yet to start building. already have a fridge. good sounding audio system, computer, t.v., a/c, good lighting, and plenty of shelving. just need more parts, kits, and materials/paints to fill it all up a bit more.
  3. school and festivals. guaranteed project blockers

  4. the boat would be easy. just have to cut down some sheet styrene. the cage i would do by hand with styrene tubing. for the engine im thinking finding a 572 or somethong supercharged. thats whats used on the real ones.
  5. thanks. im being sure to take my time so i can do it right and to help me learn how to do it better. not sure how much i will get done this weekend with the festivals around here starting up.
  6. im looking to build a model airboat. being from south louisiana they are a big part of what we do down here. i want to know if there is a kit i could buy or if i would have build it all from scratch. im kind of leaning more to building from scratch because thats how they are built in real life. and i would like the challenge. let me know what yall think.
  7. nothing special. glue and some strips
  8. plain and simple. i am a fan of ford engines and lead sleds and was born in 1992, even own a couple ford engines. a 302 and a 460
  9. did some more work on it today finally, got a good coat of filler primer, still have some filler and sanding left to do but its getting real close to a coat of sealer and some tamiya mica red. decided to give it a little more custom touch by removing the wipers and filling in the louvers still some filler on this corner. this will make filler layer 4. giving me a little bit of trouble but i think i can get it this time.
  10. steampunk rules!!! thats a very funky ride you made there. should do a guy to ride it dressed in steampunk.
  11. man thats way cool. would like to sit in one a possibly drive it.
  12. thanks, ive been working long days lately and havnt been able to finish up the body work like i wanted. latest pics are on my post. will be starting on the fitting of the pan by the weekend i hope.
  13. i love the way they do it, got a airbrush compressor from there one day that was on sale for i think $90. then i had a %50 off coupon i found online somewhere. i got a great compressor for a little less than 1/3 of the normal price. god bless their questionable methods at the cashier lol
  14. how hard was it to fit the firewall to the body, im about to start on that with mine and noticed i have a major gap on each side and a good bit of cutting and forming on the edges. also should i fit it to the pan 1st to double check fit?
  15. i want one. rofl
  16. cool gto, what color is that, looks like a flat wimbledon white to me.
  17. man thats cool. cant beat the look of an edsel, such a unique car. yours makes me wanna pull out my old glue bomb gto i build a few years ago and re-do it.
  18. how it looked when i woke up this morning, this is pretty messy for me, clean to others. had to straighten up, could understand how i found anything last night while i was working. lol
  19. bought this a couple days ago but havnt had a chance to post. dont know when i will build it, kind of want to put it behind the 50 chevy truck i want to build eventually.
  20. 2nd layer sanded down, 1st coat of regular primer sprayed on. not to many holes. still have to do some more work on the front but coming along well, still have to sand and round the front corners of the hood to fit and to cut down the rear deck. decided to fill in the door seams and handles. guess im kind of going for a street cruiser/ lowrider look. whatever it is i hope yall like it. had to cut up a small piece to fit a hole inside the front bumper, will hopefully have the remainder of the body work done tomorrow.
  21. got the filler on, sanded and 2nd layer on. hood and rear deck pegs cut off and sanded smooth with the rest of the panel
  22. im gonna have to look in the kits im working out of to see if there is one, trying to get mine as detailed as i can.
  23. looking good. did u hand make the brake cylinder or is that a part from something else?
  24. if you talk to the guys at year one they could probably give you some really got pics because they are the leader in reproduction parts for mustangs and even have a very good restoration service. based on the pics i see in their catalogs i would say they would be the ones to have what your looking for.
  25. nice man. love the engine. personally i think it needs a little more forward lean on the front at the windshield but thats me. cant wait to see the homemade headers.
