The ad popped up Instagram and I checked it out. Yes, prices too good to be true! How can this be? So I called the number they provided, it was for a hobby shop back east that had a answering machine saying it was not their ad and they where not responsible for people trying to buy from it. And please don't leave a message about it!

I remember someone telling me that the SSlasher kit still had most of the part for the Chevelle Street Funny Car, and I wonder if they are still there? Pity they won't back date it to the '71 model.

Looks like the current assortment at any Michael's craft store. The same things they've had for years!

It is a "Short Nose" Z. I think it is just the way the grill insert is sitting that is throwing people off. -

They used to be quite popular, and then it all fell apart around the mid 90's https://www.supershops.com/about/ -

Dear Atlantis bring this one back !!!
Daddyfink replied to milo1303s's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I have a resin body of this and some decals I scored at a kit show out of a misc. goodies box. But one time I did have a chance to buy a mint kit for only $75! And I passed because I thought it was too much, and it probably was about 20 years ago! LOL! Image from the web -

Tamiya Polishing Compound
Daddyfink replied to ewetwo's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
If I remember correctly, every time California changes or adds a rule to certain chemicals, new labeling has to be done or the items tested to see if they meet the new criteria. And since Tamiya is California based here in the U.S., they have to comply and thus the hold ups. It happens every few years, from paints to glues, and now Polishing Compound.
