  1. Looks like the seats will have to be replaced with something more correct, like the seats out of the BRE 510

  4. Very clean, i like it!!
  5. Very cool! Wish they would re-issue that kit!
  6. Well, you did a great job with a kit that misses the mark! LOL!
  7. It was a loophole, if the car was sold under a U.S. banner, it could be used. Like the Plymouth Arrow, AKA the Mitsubishi Lancer
  8. Sure about that? Here is the S&M Dodge/Mitsubishi Colt. Yeah, it ran as a Dodge, but, it was still an import.
  9. Very cool! I was fortunate to have met Dick Kraft a few years back at the Hot Rod Reunion, he was quite the character.
  10. Higher numbers are the drivers I.D. that are used to identify the driver when he comes up to the line. Usually your competition / License number
  11. Krazy Kool!
  12. Very nice!
  13. I would love to see a correct, or close enough, Ghost II I have a resin re-pop of the body and will combine it with the Young American to make a GG II
  14. I think the kit was originally this kit, which to my understanding was not stock at all. But I could be wrong.
  15. The Galloping Ghost II should be a long wheelbase car and the Cosmic Charger or the Young American chassis should be more correct. They used the Ramchargers car for the kit and is correct for the first version of the car, not the second. A re-release with the correct decals would be much better Galloping Ghost I (Blue and Silver Car) Galloping Ghost II
  16. That is nice, I really like that look. Great build!
  17. A terrible kit for a terrible trend Formerly known as this...
  18. Great work as usual, Drew! Can't wait to see it done!
  19. I'll just leave this right here.......
  20. Instead of suggestions, I will tell you what I have and how I like it. My airbrush is a Badge 150 Dual Action airbrush internal mix. It is pretty reliable and easy to clean, once you get used to it, and the dual action feature really helps control how much paint I want on something. A new once cost about $100 or so. For a compressor, i use a Grex AC1810-A. Prior to this unit, I had a totally home made one using an industrial type from Grainger with a pressure regulator and moisture trap. This one has it all included. The Grex has an automatic on and off feature which is nice, You can leave it on and it will only run when it is in use or if the pressure drops while it is idle. It cost about $200 If you have friends with airbrushes, ask them for their opinions and if possible, see if they will let you use them to get a fee for them. Good luck!
