    Model companies should stop doing pre painted kits and just stick to plain color or molded in color. I never had pre-painted snap kits as a kid, but I did use my dads spray cans he had in the garage! Had lots of FORD blue cars for a while!

    Very niche market and they make a lakes version and drag version in resin. Why waste tool money?

    Most folks that really want a '27 usually will buy a resin body. Small market for it in my opinion to justify new molds. R&D money that would be better spent on something that will have a broader appeal.
