  1. Great kit and you did a great job with it! I like it!
  2. One came from a fellow in Australia and the other from Speed City Resin, which is also very nice! http://www.speedcityresin.com/DragsterPage.htm
  3. That resin conversion is out there. I have two of them. Nice job.
  4. Greg, sorry, 69NovaYenko, I am well aware of the story behind the original winged wonders. Those pieces where designed for those cars and not this current brick. Just putting them those pieces on others cars does not mean they will work as they where originally intended. It seems to me that this was done as more of an homage or it looks cool to me attempt. I sure hope they did not really think they where going to actually work properly. The cars has all the other ingredients to go fast and I am sure with the proper aero components, it can go faster And yes, it still looks dumb.
  5. I think the only car of his that was ever properly kitted was his 33 Willys
  6. Might actually hit 200 if they got rid of the wing and stupid looking nose
  7. I have that Chevette! Glad I did not pass on it when I found it!! And the extra goodies in the kits back then where a real treat to find. Wish the model companies still did that.
  8. Any chance the Plymouth might come with some speed parts?
  9. I am not Revell, but, I know why they will not do the Revellion, but I might wrong on that. This is from what Tom West told me about the kits. The Revellion, as previously stated, was made from the Tony Nancy double kit and the 62 Dodge. The tooling for the Tony Nancy chrome tree was cut in half to make this kit! Yes, they pretty much mangled the tooling to make a weird Funny Car, but, by then the Nancy kit was rather dated and thus of not much value. When Revell started digging into its tooling and fielding request for re-releases, the Tony Nancy kit was high on the list, but, could not be done due to the tooling being cut and the other half to complete it came up missing. That is until Tom West rediscovered it sitting on a dusty bench in the tool room! It had been there the whole time and no one noticed it!!! Revell managed to rejoin the pieces and that is when we got the Tony Nancy kit again. So, Revell would have to sell you a whole kit with only the Dodge body to do it. I don't know how willing they would be to do that, but, you never know! And that is the rest of the story!
  10. Wrong section and that is not a hemi
  11. That is one slick Ghia! Very nice!
  12. Don't forget the Black Widow
  13. Thank, AZ! I really want to compare the wheels to the Aurora ones and the tires to the original Revell units. I notice the lack of manufacturer on the tires. We can make them M&H or Firestones! Special thanks to the guy that helped Revell get them done! You know who you are!
  14. I try to go through them all and I ignore Harry P.! But just to rub it in, Mainly Drag and some NASCAR! I appreciate all model building, even the subjects I don't really care for. It keeps the hobby going.
  15. Now, why would I want a Vega Wagon?
  16. Sorry, back to subject. Tires will ship out Monday
  17. I have a resin copy of that body, but, I have no idea who made it. It is very well done and looks just like a kit body, but in white and not clear
  18. I would be very interested in seeing a picture of this chassis and who made it.
  19. Very nice! I have one of those kits in my stash and it is nice to see such a sweet one built!
  20. Awesome! The '65 Plymouth will be getting a bit hacked up!
  21. This sounds a bit insane. How the heck does a driver sit above the cage? The rams only ran two fuel cars before switching to funnies. Are you speaking of the first one? The same one MPC made a kit of?
