  1. I have a later issue of that kit and this is what I want to do with it. As the car from "The Jerk"
  2. My build % has to be around .25%, maybe! I am trying to finish a 1:1 project before I can really get back to model building. Am I sitll getting kits? Oh yes!
  3. Is the nose all there inside the wax?
  4. Someone had one on their table at the kit show this past weekend. I picked it up and asked how much and he quickly grabbed it back and said it was not for sale, yet. I came back later and it was gone. Thanks for nothing!
  5. Monogram had a series of Snap Together Funny Cars in 1/32 Scale. They where done by Tom Daniels and all had fictional names on them. It was not until the 80's that they started to make them with actual real car style markings.
  6. Very cool! I just picked up two Monza kits!
  7. This is what Gray Baskerville called "Rats" Not this
  8. Very nice!! That body looks great as a funny!
  9. This is so cool! Came out really nice and this has to be on my top ten model box art builds of all time! This kit and box take me way back!!
  10. The Brat is actually a built up that needs some restoring, but, it was FREE! So was the Pinto box, I say box because there is a Vega inside. Wish the Pinto was in there. But, it was also free! The rest I paid for. The Monza kits are the same, with the exception of the Pro Stock hood on the yellow one.
  11. Scored a few things today at the Keller Kit Show in Buena Parkk, CA
  12. A pleasure trading with Mooneyzs (Chris)! Will gladly trade with him again! Thanks!
  13. Material Control Specialist for San Diego Community College.
  14. Depends on which Donovan Engines you are looking at. Fuel Engines based on the Chrysler 392 had no cooling provisions. Then there are the other blocks based on the BBC and the SBC that do have cooling jackets.
  15. With some digging around, you could probably find the Pabst Blue Ribbon decals.
  16. Galaxie bought the Sizzler molds, eh? Please do elaborate
  17. How about when Jerry Eckman's "oil tank" took off in the pits! And lets not for forget the unstoppable Dodge Boys in the mids 90's! Good times! If you don't get caught!
  18. Hey, this hobby is about enjoying yourself. And that is about pleasing YOU! Good job and keep at it! As and aside, I sometimes just use a silver Sharpie pen instead of foil. Its easy and quick!
  19. Scored Camaro off eBay and the patch at the Hot Rod Reunion. Could not help it on the Simon & Simon car since the show was based in San Diego!!
  20. And just for the record, Nitrous is against the rules in Pro Stock. Nice build
  21. The list changed from time to time. Some of the names I have seen are John Wiebe, Steve Carbone, Jim Nicoll, Kalitta, Muldowney, Shumacher, Prudhome, McEwen and Marvin Shwartz to name a few. I should build me a Zoo Keeper car soon.
  22. Very nice build of a classic!
  23. I would love to see the Construction Caricature kits make a comeback and they can shelve the Cop Out molds for a while!
