I like that grill! With regards to the body, I found lots of sink marks to deal with on my kit, especially on the rear panel between the taillights.
-
Come on Fujimi, Hasegawa, Tamiya or Aoshima. Please do us a 1/24 kit of these. We already have plenty of Panteras, Miuras and 512BBs so why not a Mangusta?
-
Thanks for the advice about the taillights. This is definitely something I will check out now ??.

Nice work on the interior ??

The super detailing work on the engine is superb. Using solder wire for hoses is one of my favourites.

Sorry to hear about your club member. I like the Chrysler metallic grey. I never noticed a problem with the wheelbase on these - I thought they were supposed to be like this.
-
Both look great, but I particularly like the green one.

The 57 looks like it would build up in to a very nice model.

Very nice job. I always liked the first iteration of the C4. I built the exact same kit in exactly the same way - as Face man’s Corvette, back when I was a kid. Yours is much better built than mine, as I brush painted the body white over red plastic. Back then, I had to videotape an episode and play black to see how the red stipe should go, and I still got it wrong. The stripe is correct on yours. Now you just need BA’s GMC van to go with it.

The grille makes it. That’s a very nice job ??

Very nice. I’ve got to lay my hands on one of these AMT kits.

1970 Pontiac Firebird in Lucerne blue build (1/24 Monogram/Revell)

Nice work. I really like the paint job. Those Fireball wheels came out amazing. Did Fireball supply these with the masking decals and the tyres? -
Thanks Thanks ?? Thank you ?? Thank you. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the build, especially with the extra detail of the interior. Looking forward to seeing the WIP. Thanks Dan ?? I agree. I’d love to own a 1:1 tii. Thanks. Don’t get rid of that kit. It’s a nice one to built and have on the shelf. Thanks ?? Thank you

That’s a great mix of green

That’s looking good. The in-scale sparkle is something I’m always looking for in a paint. With Zero paints, sometimes I find you get the correct sparkle, and sometimes you don’t. I’ll have to try this Tamiya colour, as I have a project in mind that would look great in Champaign.

The engine bay is looking great ??

Great work on this. This new Revell kit looks good. I’m loving the green.

Such excellent building skills! Just the perfect amount of weathering underneath. I would love to learn how to do this. I agree with you about the arches. It looks better without. I thought Tamiya would have made a derivative kit of the regular 240Z by now.

That’s a beauty! I like the green and especially like that you used a semi-gloss clear. That satin look seems to be appearing on many high-end Mercedes I see in the 1:1 world. Thanks for sharing all the details you learned. I always learn so much from reading your posts. Despite the issues you had with the carbon fibre decal, I like the roof, and your fix with Gafer tape is very affective.

Beautiful build. Very clean and I love the colour combo.

A Full detail kit!! I never knew it existed. Thanks for sharing.

I’m amazed! Not only is that a beautiful build, but did you scratch build all the under hood details? I built the Testors kit many years ago, and it had no opening panels. Is this the same kit?

I like the super smooth monochrome look ??

Very nice indeed ??
