  1. I have a work bench my uncle gave me and an unfinished basement (which is being finished this summer some time) and this is what the unfinished basement looks like presently with --33 below temps for a normal winter in North Dakota.
  2. Thank you for the kind compliments guys. The paint stand is a Tamiya set as Bill pointed out. WELL worth the investment. Gasserfreak, don't sell yourself short. The interior looks great. The one thing I would change would be to paint the all chrome center console to match the rest. For your "faux wood" I have a tutorial I've done in the past you can see here. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact me.
  3. Yet another jaw-dropper!
  4. What the heck. This is my only junk ride -
  5. The interior is started. There's touch-up work to do and I'm also waiting for a PE set of buckles to come from my LHS.
  6. I'd been in a building slump for a couple months, unknowing and uninspired to build anything. Until this showed up in my mailbox two weeks ago I immediately went downstairs and pulled my 66 GTO kit from the stash and got to building! Engine done - 1/3 I used thos annoying wires that hold kids toys in the packages for something useful and made my own coil shocks with them after stripping the clear plastic covering - Rolling chassis and mock-up 1/7 - My first attempt at using the testors vinyl top system. It's not bad. Heating up the can would probably help the mist stay smaller and not glob up as bad. I had to use .040 half round styrene to make the trim/drip rails around the base of the vinyl top at the back since they were not molded in.
  7. Great subject Dave. The white Skoal car was one of my favorites growing up watching NASCAR. This one brought back some memories.
  8. Lace/bridal material from the craft store's floral section may help. It's got the diamond pattern like that. The flip-side is that it'd be a raised stitch pattern rather than a tuck & roll sort.
  9. That 58 Ferrari is gorgeous!
  10. Great to see them again! The GTO's got my vote.
  11. It is great Raul. It's quite inspirational to look at everyone's builds, and it is like a contest annual (for comparison purposes). There were a few who posted up their 2007 year in review last year, but NOWHERE NEAR the turnout this year had. I was reluctant this year as well, but after a few more (yourself included) decided to post mine. I say everyone make it a tradition.
  12. Great builds and pics everyone! If I had to choose one picture, it'd be this top-shot of my Daytona
  13. They all look good Brian. I love the honeycomb GTO still.

Thanks Raul. The Cobra is courtesy of my bride of 10 years. She picked it for my last '08 build.
