This is such a visual impact. There is so much incredible detail. You could look at it for hours and see things that you hadn't noticed before. Thank you for posting Pat! Kudos and a tip of the cap to the builder of this quality piece.

I worked for FedEX as a delivery driver. FedEX does not have drivers. All the deliveries are through sub-contractors. It is the sub-contractor who does the hiring. I was paid a daily rate. It wasn't, but as an example we will go with $150/day. If your run took 5 or 6 hours you made out well. If you took 10 or 11 hours well...you do the math. They run you ragged. And coming into this time of year I don't see it getting better.

Thank you Bill. I've read on the forum where the Paasche H is the best airbrush ever invented. I'm thinking these two should do at least a decent job. LOL I got my Arkhitect Airbrush model kit from a US eBay seller in California. He had 3, I bought the last one he had. Not sure if he restocked yet. Since you are in Canada I'd recommend Maple Airbrush Supply. I know Donna either has them in stock or they are coming. There is also this thread on the forum: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/164966-is-it-me/

This came Saturday: These came a few days prior, a day apart. Older Iwata HP-SB in front and the new Iwata Eclipse Takumi SBS in back. The HP-SB has never been used, the Takumi I bought new.

To my knowledge these are the pieces that replace the unmarked pieces in the standard kit: The box says this kit is based on the Iwata HP-C Plus. It is not. The HP-C Plus has the angled air channel as seen on mine: It is actually based on the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS (Plus). I believe a Plus model would have the same handle on as my HP-C+ with the needle stop. I looked on the Iwata website but did not find an Eclipse HP-CS+. Iwata image of Eclipse HP-CS: This painting by Gerald Mendez is what inspired the model. Mr Mendez's painting was of a Kustom Micron CMC.

Great score on both kits Luke! I haven't found the Special Edition in the US yet. My standard edition kit arrived Saturday.

I just bought mine. I have severe Airbrush Acquisition Disorder. I had to get at least one to add to my AB collection. Probably buy another one too, just to have.

I'm sorry for your loss. You have my deepest sympathy. I hope the best for you and your family.

SprayGunner sells what they call UMOs. I've purchased quite a bit from SG. They have a rewards program on what you purchase. 1 point for every $10 spent. A couple times I've added the 3 umo set just to round up to the next $10 and get the point. https://spraygunner.com/no-name-mini-stainless-steel-umos/

Great, cheap tip Snake. I've used the smallest aluminum tube I have to do that with, cut to length. You may need to drill out the wheel-back and locating hole a bit. I superglue them in. I don't build mine so all 4 wheels rotate. I'd hate to have one roll off at a height of something it's placed on.

This is looking good so far. Keep going. I went twice with a guy who had a monster truck. The OBS was at one show. I saw where the word Special was misspelled on the passenger door. Makes you wonder if he got a discount on the custom painting.

Awesome! I gotta get one at some point. Interesting Iwata would license something like this. Way cool.

To be honest I haven't used one with any consistency for years. I got good with a spray bomb. I did use a Binks Wren B for models (lacquer) for 35+ years. A Paasche VL for t-shirts and stuff (water base) but I sold it a number of years ago. I collect ABs because I like them. I have around 65. They take up a lot less space than models too. As I mentioned, I want to sell off some of my models as I know I'll never get around to doing anything with them. Right now there are about 3 or 4 more ABs I'd like to add. They are getting pricier as I am starting to buy better brushes. I'm looking more at the better Japanese brushes and brands from Germany. Sorry to digress, to answer your question, in my opinion I don't see one better for the price than the Infinity CR Plus. No, I haven't used mine yet but there is enough info out there to get a good idea of what it can do. I bought mine to use for lacquer. The Silverline should be good too. I bought it for water base and I hope to test it in the next day or so on a project I need to finish. I have about 4 Paasche Hs and compared to the Wren I like the H better. The replaceable air-cap is a great feature. The H is good for what it can do. For primer, single color base coating and clearing it is a good choice. It does have it's limits being single action. I've got 2 Paasche model AB turbos which are a completely different animal. They aren't good for model painting though.

Thank you Bill. They are nice. The Infinity is a beautiful airbrush. I've been collecting ABs for a number of years. I have pretty much at least one of every US made AB and some Iwatas and other import brands. I'd like to sell off some models to fund a few more ABs.

Did anyone here make it to this show? Did you buy anything good?

So what you are saying is Robdebie gave you advice on a different thread that you posted. In saying that it means that you have chosen not to follow any of the advice in this thread? Why is this thread here then? I collect airbrushes. I have a new Paasche H with all 3 needle, nozzle, air caps and a hose I know does not leak. When I first saw this post I had thought about trying to work something out with you for it. I will no longer do that as I believe if you don't get the perfect paint job the first time that you use it it will be the airbrushes fault (and that would have included me). You can choose whichever airbrush you think will work best for you. The sad truth is it's not the airbrush. It's the skill of the person using it.

For all the old timers - 1965 McDonalds ad

My first real job was at a fast food burger joint back around 1975ish named Winky's. It was up the road from Mickey Dees. I think the cheeseburgers may have been 30 cents but that was too long ago. It was a local Pittsburgh franchise. There were about 12 to 15 stores IIRC. They had gotten to the point of not only wanting to compete with McD they also added items that other fast food chains offered. Chicken like Kentucky Fried, roast beef like Arby's, fish like Long John Silvers. I worked at multiple locations over the course of 8 to 10 years until they went belly-up. -
Found this on another forum I am on. Airbrush painting of Roger Waters. Artist is Kim McCann. I think he did a great job on this. I asked and he said he's looking for a good current pic of David Gilmore as he plans to do him next.
