  1. What a wonderful build, Yoshimi! All those mods really paid off as it really does look the part of the real one.
  2. Excellent group, Phil!
  3. Those are all great builds, and a nice variety. Really like the GMC and P-51. I always try for cranking out a dozen builds a year but it never works out for me LOL.
  4. Tough truck! Excellent build Erock!
  5. Digging those colors, that's one beautiful 'bird. Congrats!
  6. It's always a pleasure seeing your work, Marcos. Those are stellar builds. That Boss stops me in my tracks every time I see it.
  7. Very impressive collection, all are well executed builds. I really like the Rally Legacy and Fiero. May you be just as successful in '24.
  8. Wow, is that ever a beauty. Fantastic work Marcos!
  9. You had quite the productive year, and all are quality builds. Well done!
  10. Thanks guys! I've always been a fan of the Cougar, and like others say, feel they are often overlooked and underappreciated.
  11. Love this thread and all the excellent eye candy posted. I guess I'll throw the ones I've built into the mix. I really need to get cracking on those Moebius Plymouths lurking in the stash that keep staring at me.
  12. Now that is one terrific looking combo! Exceptionally clean building style all around. Love the stripe on the roof of the coupe, it compliments the car well.
  13. That's a mighty fine looking 56! Lovely detailing under the hood and the trim work is spot on. I really like the way the Rally wheels look on it, a good choice for sure. Congrats on a well done build!
  14. Many thanks again guys!
  15. Stunning build and excellent photography! That chassis is a work of art with the subtle weathering. Congrats!
  16. Thanks, BMF was used on all except the Cougar scripts, those were dry-brushed with Testors silver. The plan was to do the foil under paint method for them but totally forgot to do it LOL. I'm not sure and not an expert by any means, but I think you may be correct. Thanks for the comments guys, I'm really happy with how she turned out.
  17. Excellent build and tribute! Soooo clean!
  18. Nice save and restoration. The stripes look good on these, never thought of that. I love these cars too, as I had a 95 LX, 4.6, white with blue guts. Really enjoyed that car and still miss it to this day.
  19. Finished putting the wraps on this one today. Had a good time building it as it went pretty smoothly. In going for a mild street machine look, I threw on a set of AMT's pad printed tires and custom wheels set and gave it a small rake to the stance. Under the hood I found some headers in the parts box to use (unknown source). But, the bigger item here was adding the engine bay assembly from the 73 Cougar kit. The "bay" is the only surviving piece from the glue bomb I built of that kit when I was a kid, had to clean it up the best I could and came out decent I think. Painted with Tamiya TS-16 Yellow polished out with no clearcoat. The final touch was making some exhaust tips from aluminum tubing, and it was a wrap. The thick overcast skies put a hamper on my camera's ability to pick up the shine well, so I included a shot indoors on the workbench as well. Thanks for looking and any questions/comments.
  20. Wow, I had completely forgotten about this song, and honestly, I most likely haven't heard it since the 90's. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. ?
  21. This is fantastic! Excellent work on all the fabrication taken, and in only 12 days?! I'm lucky to get a engine block put together in that time LOL! The weathering/dirt/grime is perfect.
  22. That is simply gorgeous! As others have mentioned, it sure could pass as the real thing. Love the various sheens on the hoses/wiring underhood, looks just right. Congrats!
  23. Yep, that's a looker for sure. Nice job on the black finish, not an easy task.
  24. I can only imagine the "fun" adding all the side trim must have entailed, but you persevered. That is one tough looking car, well done! In the past I also built one of these as a fictional super stock, and used the headers from a Thunderbolt. Not an easy task at all and almost shelved the whole project as a result lol!
  25. Thanks guys! Yeah she's not the greatest kit ever tooled up by any means, but a cool subject nonetheless.
