  1. Nice build! Being primarily a car builder, I'm not really up on what was or wasn't available in kit form as far as Chevy pickups to use a starting point for a 63' c50 or 60. I have seen where Revell 65' kits are available and it does look at first glance that cab might work with mods to the grille/headlights. Are the 63' pickup kits pretty expensive when found? Have they been re-released?
  2. Great finish Jason!
  3. Great pdf links. Thanks!
  4. Thanks for the tips.
  5. Looking for suggestions as to how to approach building a 1/25 62' or 63' C50/C60 Chev. I'll admit to not knowing much about what was/is available in either kit form, or resin. Expecting nothing in kit form, I'm sure there would need to be scratchbuilding/kitbashing needed, which I'm ok with. I'm looking to build a car hauler. Thanks
  6. Great work!
  7. Great subject for a chop!
  8. Great build and I like the color too.
  9. Kitbashing is fun! Especially when you aren't worried about having everything end up being totally, mechanically, perfect or correct. Enjoy your build and welcome back.
  10. Great job!

  17. I apologize if this site is already known to most of us here. I stumbled on it when I was looking for info on Doc Halladay and his Telstar cars. FWIW, I think it's a pretty cool site to bookmark and have available when you need pix of 70's floppers. On top of that, the captions make really good reading too. http://www.70sfunnycars.com/index.html
  18. Good build. Congrats!
  19. Same here... watching your progress on this one! This kit has been on my want list for some time.
  20. Good description of your frustration. We all have build stories like this one . Thanks for sharing!
  21. Because I use a caliper (not digital but good nonetheless) so often while building I leave it clamped in a small vise on my bench. That way, having only two hands most of the time, I'm able to operate the caliper while holding the wire or whatever I'm measuring more easily.
  22. Nice build!
  23. Keep that stance!
  24. Looks like a good project to follow along with!
