  1. Can't wait to see them , Jürgen - I have them all as 1/24 die-cast models.
  2. You gave new life to this old kit, Bart - very nice! The first series Riviera are without doubt some of the best-looking American cars ever.
  3. Very nice models, Mario - I wish you a speedy recovery !
  4. Looks perfect to me !
  5. Very nice model of a genuine sleeper, Mario - sleeping beneath a street lamp ! Thanks for the info on the necessity of widenening the track!
  6. Fantastic build, Ken - these are the wheels that should have been included in the kit (those low-profile tires are totally wrong). The color choice similar to primrose yellow is also excellent !
  7. Excellent truck, Brian - very well done !
  8. Fantastic looking truck - the 2nd picture can easily be taken for real !
  9. Beautiful model, Anders just beautiful ! I have never seen these colors on a kit, but they fit perfectly !
  10. After a long break you finally come back to the board and present us again a marvellous model, Jürgen ! You have outdone yourself with this superb Alfa Romeo!
  11. I have a few obskure/rare kits in my stash: Bandai 1/20 Lamborghini Marzal, Frog 1/24 Lola T70 Spyder, Nakamura 1/24 Abarth 2000 Pininfarina Prototipo, mpc 1/20 McLaren M8B but the rarest of them all is probably the Sentraru 1/24 Ford P68/3L (it is not even listed by Scalemates) = the only of these that I have built recently (see under glass racing cars):
  12. Very impressive diorama, Jürgen - so much to see here !
  13. Excellent, Pierre - if this model was available as a kit, I would immediately buy at least 2 - I followed your WIP and watched this marvellous racer come together.
  14. Pierre, you did it again - you created a superb model of Dieter Quester's Le Mans racer with finesse and your usual attention to detail - simply excellent ! For me, the best looking touring sportscar ever !
  15. Mildly happy ? I think it looks excellent - are the decals from IndyCals? (I sold mine after struggling with the J-Car and the Ford Mkl IV = the most ill-fitting kit I have ever experienced)
  16. Pierre, you succesfully tackled the 2 biggest flaws of this kit which otherwise would totally disturb the whole picture: the wheels and the headlights. Bingo - I think I have to stock up on a few styrene profiles....
  17. Good-looking old kit, Rich ! IIRC, in the 90's, Fujimi had a 1/16 Alfa Tipo 33 in their catalog - could this be a re-pop of the old Otaki kit? By the way, Jason Hupin (= Jack modeling) makes Alfa GTAm wheels with up to 30 mm diameter and has also fitting tires (Goodyear, Dunlop etc.) - check it out: https://www.ebay.com/itm/185976415183
  18. Excellent model, Graham - looks much better than amt's Astro kit !
  19. Excellent model, Gary - hard to believe that this is made of wood !
  20. Don't know how/why I missed this one, James. Despite your troubles, it came out very good !
  21. Wonderful site, Matt - many thanks !
  22. Thanks to all nice comments (also in my WIP) - the Ford P68 participated in 3 world championship races in 1968: Brands Hatch, Nürburgring and Spa-Francorchamps (the others were a few national races in England). Isn't it funny that exact these 3 versions have been built and came up Under Glass on the board within the last weeks.
  23. Thanks, MIchael - but the P68 did not start at Le Mans (it certainly would not have survived a 24-hr race). Thank you for your comments, Matt. I too had the Matchbox superfast model (in metallic green) as a 10-year old and also a Nichimo 1/20 kit of this car (about 30 years ago) which I unfortunately sold. Thank you my friend for your kind words. It was kind of relief when I finally finished this (re-)build. (Now for something more easy) Thanks Mark for your compliments. I tried my best with what I had at hand. Thanks, Jim. I'm not sure if the FIA regulations of the time were demanding an outside mirror. If you look closely the 2nd photo of the original, you may notice there is also an inside rear view mirror. Many thanks, Dave. Your models are an inspiration and your P68 WIP was the kick that I needed to start with this project. Thanks Gary - your comments are always appreciated! Thanks, Rich. I like sportsracers of this type and that era best (I have some more obscure subjects in the pipeline) Thanks, Ken - despite several issues I'm quite satisfied with the result. Thank you, Tim for your nice comments - appreciated as always.
  24. Some excellent quality decals from toptoys (Italy) - meant for Ferrari 330 P 4 and 412 P, but includes some others too (also helmet designs for Jackie Stewart, Chris Amon and Nino Vaccarella)
