  1. Looks excellent, Hessel - showroom quality !
  2. Small parcel arrived today from Spotmodel (Spain): 2 sets of Renaissance Campagnolo wheels (for Dino 246 GT's and other period Italian sportscars), I had already one and they are simply great and one set of 4 tiny white metal spring hood pins - intended for use with my Arii Chaparral 2 C.
  3. Excellent model of one of my F1 favorites, Rich - Jochen Rindt sparked the motorsport enthusiasm here in Austria. A shame that Ebbro omitted the "Gold Leaf" letters from the decal sheet (tobacco !) so I had to buy them from another source. I will tackle this one and the 49, 33 and 25 may be in retirement next year. Until then I have to train my skills with easier kits - you are raising the bar very high!
  4. You captured the look of this Lotus perfectly, Mario - typically 70's design ! Nice background, too!
  5. Excellent Mack Coe, Hessel - super nice and clean build!
  6. Fantastic looking Cabover - simply beautiful !
  7. It is Italeri's own development (no ex-Esci or Protar reissues like they do often these days...) - they released their own gullwing and the roadster in the 80's (ca. 1986/87). I have both and also the amt kit which is totally different: 1/25 scale with poseable steering and opening doors and trunk.
  8. Fujimi's Ferrari 330 P4 - started in 1989 (Paint, decals), then stored away - will be done in 2023... see body below, together with a Jouef die-cast Spider:
  9. Hello Pierre, as Bill said, there were some wheel changes during the race, and the rims obviously had different colors: I would go for the gold wheels with Goodyear tires which were on the car at the finish line. Here is a link to a French slot-racing website with 37 period pictures of # 1046 from Le Mans 1966 (partially colcor) - just scroll down: https://lemans.slot-racing.fr/le-mans-1966/ford-mkii-2-nsr.html By the way, this is Chris Amon waving to the spectators while Bruce McLaren is driving the car to the winner's circle.
  10. Excellent, Pierre - the finest rendition of this kit I've seen ! I've been following your WIP - very impressive, and some good modeling tips, too !
  11. I know - I have them on my radar, too - they have period-correct tires with them.
  12. Very nice - and only polished bare plastic ! (It looks as if has been painted)
  13. Exceptional !
  14. This gives me some inspirations for my Chaparral 2 C, which I'm working on and off when I'm in the mood, Pierre.
  15. Always an inspiration - keep on building, Gary !
  16. Very well done - for me the best-looking F 1 car of its era (around 1990)
  17. This is a typical construction feature of several Renault FWD models in the 60's and 70's: the arrangement of the torsion-bar suspension results in different wheelbases left and right: for instance, the Renault 5 has a 30 mm shorter wheelbase on the right side than on the left.
  18. x 2: this version looks much better than the kit's.
  19. Received these today from Jack Modeling (France) via ebay: very fine spoke wheels with 5 (!) different sets of center locks. As my first order got lost in the mail, he sent me a second one (+ additional seatbelt buckles and exhaust pipes for free !) - Oh, I forgot to mention that these are available in 8 different sizes (from 14" up to 21") The set consisted of 7 (!) wheels and 5 to 6 each of 5 different centers! I can't say if this is a precaution because the material might be brittle and prone to breaking if not handled carefully enough (I can't say because I never have worked with 3 D parts until now) . Anyway, the price of € 5,50 is unbeatable - here is a link : https://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_dkr=1&iconV2Request=true&_blrs=recall_filtering&_ssn=jack_modelling&_oac=1 Here are some pics taken just now (what you see is what I got): Here is a direct comparison with Aoshima's MGB spoke wheels: You may want to give him a try - he also offers other wheels and detailing parts !
  20. Received a set of delicate 3D-printed resin spoke wheels from France: Will open a topic in the aftermarket section with more details.
