  1. Excellent looking Daytona in this gloss black/leather brown combination - well done!
  2. Excellent model, Larry - Forza Ferrari ! (i have two of them in my stash, and have read only good things about it)
  3. Looks very promising, I bought myself a can a few weeks ago, will keep it for special applications.
  4. Cool racer, Rich ! Unusual with its front mid-engine configuration - I can't remember ever seeing one of these built ! (I had the Ford Motorsports version of this but sold it in the 90's.)
  5. Do you have "lights on" in this picture, Gary ? At first glance I thought you had headlights like the Grand Sport racers of the time.
  6. Fantastic models, Steven - both are real show-stoppers!
  7. I believe he only sells via e-bay: her is a link to his ebay shop: https://www.ebay.de/str/jackmodelling His e-mail: eBay - jack_modelling [jasohu_itsb4326pgfc@members.ebay.fr]
  8. Excellent model of the MGB, Ryan - stance is just perfect for the "chrome models". Very nice color, too (exterior and interior) - these MGs don't have to be red or green all the time.
  9. No, it is a Fujimi rebox - molded in white, with better decals.
  10. David, you are almost at the finish line with this fabulous model ! I have the Enthusiast model LP400 but have not tackled it yet. Did the windshield pop out when you stretched the body over the chassis? It looks like you did install it afterwards. This would be my greatest nighmare, I remember building the Dino 246 GT almost 30 years ago and it was also not an easy task putting body and chassis together without breaking anything.
  11. Got today 2 more wheel sets for sportscar lovers from Jack modelling: Porsche 356 wheels (with seperate hubs) and Campagnolo alloys for Fiat Abarths - very delicately printed:
  12. Today in the mail (from 2 different ebay-sources): 4 sets of wheels from Jack modelling 2 each spoke wheels and 1 each Porsche 356 (for my Jimmy Flintstone 550 Spyder) and Campagnolo alloy wheels (for Fiat 131 and 124 Abarth): and another of those Revell 917 K's: for € 27,50 including shipping I could not let it pass:
  13. Hard to imagine that you will really stop modelling, Ray - maybe you just need a break.
  14. Trust me - you will !
  15. You are raising the bar very high for all of us, Pierre - this is one absolutely fabulous model which you have upgraded with so many scratchbuild details - wonderful! I have been following along your WIP with great interest because these are my favourite subjects but I doubt I would ever come close to this level of perfection.
  16. Fantastic model, Pierre - you raise the bar very high!
  17. From the Japanese Hachette series made by Ixo - I think it was a present for the subscribers - caught this on ebay a few years ago: doors open, pop-up headlights and photo-etched wipers are a nice touch. Anyway, a little dechroming the tank caps and the rear lights will need a little Snake-Fu. Here it is as it comes out of the blister box (Hasegawa makes a kit version):
  18. Fantastic, Pierre - can't wait to see the finished model!
  19. yes, indeed - so careful masking will be necessary when spraypainting these.
  20. They present all of their decals on a background that shows the same color as the real race car they are meant for.
  21. Today in the mail : small parcel from Motobitz UK containing 3D-printed parts and some decals: transkit for the Belkits Ford Escort Mk I to turn it into the London-Mexico 1970 World Cup Rally winning car: and Jaguar E-Type racing alloy wheels meant for use with Revell's new E-type kits (will NOT be used for a Jag!):
  22. Saw this incidentially yesterday when browsing the catalog of my favorite internet dealer (Czech Republic) - it is already sold out. I think that this is a (modified ?) ex-Protar kit - at least it has the full Marlboro decals included. Here is a link to the Italeri homepage: https://www.italeri.com/en/article/818
  23. Very nice, Pierre - the superbly detailed dashboard alone lifts the whole model to yet another level - marvellous !
