  1. Jason, I have gone through my Ferrari books and did not find anything that could help you - but here is a link to the Borrani website feauturing wheels and tires front and rear for Ferrari 250 GTOs - maybe this will provide the necessary information: https://www.borrani.com/ferrari-wheels/250-gto.html
  2. same as before, but this time bikes made in Italy: 1971 Laverda 750 SFC: model with photo-etched drive-chain 1973 MV Agusta 750 S: Ducati singles: 1973 Scrambler 450: and 1974 Ducati 350 Mk3 Desmo: the famous twin: 1974 Ducati 750 Super Sport: 1978 Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans (photoetched disc-brakes): and finally one, desperately trying to catch up with all the above - Moto Guzzi 700 V 7 "Polizia Stradale", 1969:
  3. Fantastic - looks like the real one - one of my 3 all-time favorite sportscars !
  4. Excellent model, Michael - looks superb in those colors! This shows to its best advantage that not every Ferrari has to be red - even if some modeling companies think so, obviously. I sold mine because of the massive, unelegant looking body and the bad chrome grill and wheels. I should have kept it though mine was molded in white (first issue) so painting would have been much easier.
  5. Very nice model, Rich, with outstanding decal work (though modern F 1 cars are not my cup of tea)
  6. to go with your car models or any garage diorama: 1960 BSA Gold Star DBD34: 1965 BSA 650 Lightning: 1967 Triumph T120 Bonneville: and 1969 Norton 750 Commando:
  7. Looks good: These mean machines must have been really a handful - similar to a rodeo cowboy riding a bull: sitting almost on the drive axle while trying to handle the power.
  8. Superb weathering on this trusty, rusty old workhorse, Mario - just fabulous!
  9. Hello Jason, it's great that you joined the forum - now it is easier to contact you directly - I introduced your Jaguar E-type spoke wheels here and have ordered also the Cromodora and Porsche 356 wheels from you. What do you think of Borrani wires (especially for Italeri 250 GTO - these have the same widthfront and rear which is totally wrong) that have been proposed to you by Pierre (Rivard) ? These would be very welcome indeed! Keep up the good work!
  10. What an awesome, brutal machine - I am looking forward to another great racer coming out of your garage Gary (Le Mans participant?)
  11. Rich, I have the same thoughts as Gary - you are showing us great models, one after the other. But this should be a hobby, so a temporary slump is no drama in my opinion. A bigger problem would be to put yourself under pressure so that the hobby - which should be a great enjoyable pastime - becomes something like work.
  12. Very nice car, Mario - though not a big fan of red Ferraris, this color is very fitting for the 328.
  13. From the Hachette 1/24 Mexican series (made by Ixo): a no-nonsense, plain utility vehicle with almost no chrome. I ordered this one because I sold off my amt kits. Cab/hood is metal, whereas the pickup bed and rear fenders are plastic - all painted a very dark green. As I knocked off the rearview mirror bracket on the passenger side, I decided to give it a little "Snake-Fu" treatment: I added some round mylar chrome foil to both mirrors, a small piece of aluminium tube for the exhaust pipe and 1961 Wyoming plates cut from a very old auto world license plate sheet (could be a "Cowboy Cadillac"/c. Terry Jessee) - in my imagination, a typical vehicle for rural America back in the day. At last, I needed a load and cut a cardboard box from a Verlinden sheet I bought 30 years ago.
  14. Sorry to read this - I have been missing his comments for a while but would not have thought that he had passed (he was even younger than me!). Checking his profile I found out that he had even posted on Feb. 22. My condolences to his family.
  15. Just in from the postman (via ebay France) - 1955 Chevy 3100 PU from Hachette (1/24, Mexican series) - a plain, no fancy working truck.
  16. Nice model , Mario as is your trademark - the car looks a bit like It's been souped up as a traffic light street racer back in the day - but the box art pic of the real one sits also a bit high and sports wider rear tires (cheater slicks?)
  17. Nice build, Rich, of a seldom seen car from an era where Tyrrell's best years had been over long ago.
  18. Very nice build of one of the most extremes street-legal cars ever, David!
  19. Superb paint and foil work on this old Buick, Anders - wonderful !
  20. Maraviglioso, Giovanni - una macchina belissima !!! Never saw a Protar kit look that good - outstanding build !
  21. Very nice Countachs - I especially like the orange LP400 - a color that is typical for Lamborghinis of that era.
  22. Well done, Mario - looks great in front of that old French store.
  23. You did it again, Janos - fabulous model !
  24. Rare model of an equally seldom seen subject, Gary - the car leaving the pits in the rain could be taken for real!
