  1. This one came just in per mail - via ebay Germany - a rare Tom Tanner kit from Le Mans 1968:
  2. Very well done, Louis - I have the very same kit in my stash (it is the Airfix re-issue of an older Heller kit) and will save your pictures as an inspiration for my future buidl.
  3. That is a very impressive car, Tim - I have 4 of these models that will undergo different treatments some day - at least the wheels have to be changed.
  4. It certainly is one of the -( if not THE ) most succesful sports-racers ever.
  5. At least there was an EX-EL-promo in the 80's...
  6. Well done, Tim - the wheels together with the lowered stance make a HUGE difference ! Can't wait to see what you will do with the Bburago 250 TdF...
  7. Hi, Noel, motobitz UK has the correct wheels for this E-type (with period-correct tire tread):
  8. For me, some of the most accurate model kits are JoHan's Chrysler Turbine car (built), Fujimi's EM series Dino 246 GTs (built one), Ferrari 365 GTBs (restored one) and the following models from my stash (still unbuilt): Tamiya's Jaguar Mk II and Mercedes 300 SL + Fujimi EMs: Porsche 911 and 356 + Lamborghini Countach LP400S
  9. Today I tried Revell's chrome spray: My brother handed me over a very old built-up 1/9 scale Protar Laverda 750 motorbike with very bad chrome parts where the black plastic was very apparent and asked me if I could repair this no matter how. This was the perfect object for trying this paint: I actually did NOTHING for preparing the parts (mudguard and both exhaust pipes): Here is one of the pipes before: After shaking the can for almost a minute, I sprayed the chrome directly onto the parts going two times over them - this is the result: I will let it dry for a few days, then reassemble the bike again.
  10. Very nice !
  11. I think a stock version will follow sooner or later (at a lower price)... The kit is already available on ebay Germany: https://www.ebay.de/itm/186097612166?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D777008%26algo%3DPERSONAL.TOPIC%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20230811123857%26meid%3D57f2ff525dff4343a1b99a3cbd736189%26pid%3D101770%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26itm%3D186097612166%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D4375194%26algv%3DRecentlyViewedItemsV2%26brand%3DRevell&_trksid=p4375194.c101770.m4236&_trkparms=parentrq%3Add7c7da818a0ad932a4bf713ffffc6b4|pageci%3Ae285ced0-5e3d-11ee-802b-b644be45eba2|iid%3A1|vlpname%3Avlp_homepage
  12. Very nice model - excellent execution (I would have thought this was a 1/24 scale kit)

Excellent paint job and fine details, Anders - you delivered again! Beautiful color, perfectly fitting for this glittering land yacht.
  14. Very nice, Tim - excellent job on widening the rear wheels to a more realistic size.
  15. Mission impossible finally achieved, Steven - you raised (your own) bar again a few inches higher ! It is almost impossible to distinguish the model from the real car - absolutely incredible !
  16. I think I remember this model from my childhood...
  17. Looksl great - will be following this.
  18. Amazing display - marvellous attention to detail - perfect!
  19. Excellent model, Dave - as we are already used to see from you - special applause when considering the body you started with !
  20. Hello guys, check out Jason's fantastic new 3 D printed Ferrari alloy wheels - finally you can build Italeri's 275 GTB/4 Berlinetta and 275 GTS/4 Spider NART with period correct wheels (as a welcome alternative to the ever present Italeri spoke wheels) - here is the link: https://www.ebay.de/itm/186085396316?hash=item2b538dcf5c:g:6OIAAOSw0bJlCKAG The finesse of the wheel hub is incredible (prancing horse!) Highly recommended !!!
  21. Fascinating, Janos - I think you will need a magnifierto see all the tiny details here.
  22. This is a very nice model of a seldom seen built kit, Hanjo - certainly not the easiest kit (built also some Heller kits in the past)
  23. Cool looking build, Mathias!
