  1. Unusual color (for a 250 GTO) in high-gloss showroom quality with perfect photos, Anders - as we are used from you.
  2. Thanks, Gareth !
  3. Great looking Jag, Rich - especially the fine detailing and poseable front wheels.
  4. superb, very clean build and excellent photos, John - seeing this one, I almost regret selling mine.
  5. Nice detail and weathering …..Outstanding build, Jürgen - you seem to prefer Internationals....
  6. Great looiking International, Dan - did the stripes come as decals included inthe kit?
  7. Rich, there are expensve resin kits available from Profile 24 and Model Factory Hiro in 1/24. A few years ago, I could buy from ebay Italy an old built-up of a rare kit (see here:
  8. Very nice model, Rich - I had this one also, but sold it when I could buy a 1/24 version. I can't remember if mine had any decals at all. I even have a book about this car !
  9. Thank you, Michal !
  10. Thank you Rusty, these are the kit wheels.
  11. Thanks, guys - they are built more or less out of the box.
  12. Before I leave for 2 weeks (holidays) I will show you 2 other of my mid-80's builts: spraypainted from the can, trim brushed with silver enamel. 1957 Chevy (1/25 mpc) and 1966 Chevelle SS (1/24 Monogram):

  14. Of course you are right, Alan ! Immediately after posting I remembered the scene - a chain would have made too much noise so the cops would have noticed Curt fixing their rear axle (one of my favorite scenes ever)
  15. Right - and some modeling shops offer them too for relatively moderate prices. (f. i. www.modelissimo.eu)
  16. Hi Gary, Modelissimo from Germany has some of them the first 7 models as of now) - a lot cheaper than on ebay: here is the link: https://www.modelissimo.eu/ switch to English language, choose 1/24 for scale and for manufacturer: Hachette Opel Collection.
  17. Excellent model, Michal - very nice colors!
  18. Yes, guys - the similarity is no coincidence - Chevrolet chief stylist Clare McKichan went over to Germany in 1962 and was mainly responsible for the design of Opel in the 60's (also for the Opel GT AKA "mini-Corvette")
  19. Thansk, Carl ! Thank you, Bob - I preferred stock, but every once in a while a street machine came in between.
  20. That's why Amedée Gordini has been called the wizard (cranking out lots of power from the small Renault engines). Thanks! Thank you Rusty !
  21. Thanks, Chris ! Thank you, Rusty - it can be hard to be an Alfa Romeo fan (and modelbuilder) looking for affordable kits that are good representations of the original - proportionwise Tamiya's Giulia Sprint GTA is by far the best. This is why I have gathered 75 diecast models in 1/24 over the last 10 years, many of them will be modified to create different versions/racers. Thank you, Kurt - I must admit that I didn't notice the number of the holes in the campagnolo wheels. Thank you, Anders - the white one is Gunze's low-tech Alfa Romeo GTA 1300 junior.
  22. My latest acquisition (from the German 1/24 Hachette Opel collection): 1965 Opel Diplomat V8 coupè (only 347 pcs. were built by Karmann between 1965 and 1967), motorized with the Chevrolet 327 V8.
  23. Excellent, Alan - you only need the rear live axle with a chain wrapped around in a distance...
