  1. I'll trade even up for my Sprite. . Nice work .
  2. Now that is slick ! I can imagine it without the 671, and a nicely scooped GTO hood. Maybe with the roof from Revell's Chevelle wagon? The rear deck and up top from AMT's '66 442. Or using the custom tail light and rear pan from AMT's '65 Grand Prix. Oh oh....where's my razor saw and Bondo?....
  3. Another wild one from the twisted brain of Chuck Most (how the heck does he do it???????).
  4. Last time I checked, Fargo was in North Dakota, not Maine. 'Eh?
  5. McCahill rocked. I loved his comments on cars: '57 Imperial. "Stands out like a beer ad on a pulpit." '61 Lincoln. "Howls through corners like an editor being asked for a raise." '58 Ford. "As rugged as an Irish riot in a Russian saloon."
  6. You just made my brain hurt .

Nicely twisted, Chuck. When you're driving, though, don't get ambushed by the Inglourious Basterds.
  8. Nice work. I really like the roof. Buicks are cool.
  9. The magic word is 'backup'. Always have duplicates of things you want to save. I have stuff stored not only on my computer, but on my flash drives (1G, 8G and 16G) and on my external hard drive (320G). I actually learned this three years ago from my old computer running off the road where it flipped, crashed and burst into flames . I also had a malfunction with my PS2 memory card three years back. I was 30% of the way into GT4 when it freaked out, leaving me to start from scratch. I'm now 94% through it, and I also have two backup memory cards (GT5 will be out in November - yeeha).
  10. The AMT '57 Ford has a Bassett Hound lying down. You could also try the G- scale train section of your favorite LHS (that's 'local hobby shop', not a mid- 90's Chrysler LHS ).
  11. Here's the Turbo Coupe I built three years ago...
  12. You are correct, sir. The Hayes 'Bird is 1/25. As for the Monogram kit, I think its a great kit that goes together well and represents the subject matter well. Having owned an '84 and an '88 Thunderbird (both non- TC cars with the 302), I can tell you that the nose on the real car is plenty long. For the '87 restyle, all the sheetmetal got the once- over. The side windows became flush- mounted, the deck was flattened out and the rear window became a wraparound affair. The car was also a tad heavier, and this is evident in the car's slightly duller steering response. I could actually feel that additional 200- plus pounds. There are two minor caveats with this kit- the headlight buckets need to be installed in the nose before its attached to the body, and there are no positive locators for said front nose.
  13. I must now vomit. Excuse me.
  14. Harry will just take the money and go to Barbados...
  15. Love it. I had a real one (red with black striping) that I bought in '76.
  16. Looking good, Chuck. Apparently, AMT thought they could fool people into thinking that hoary old MEL 462 could be made to took like the 46o. Nice job. Here's my '65 from two years ago. The front and rear sections were cut from the '62 T- Bird with the central floorpan from the Lincoln. The engine compartment is also from the 'Bird.
  17. Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best
  18. Gotta love them Buicks. Very nice .
  19. Beautiful job on your Imp. Trivia- these cars were built by the Imperial Division of Chrysler Corporation. Thus, they were not badged, sold or marketed as Chryslers. They were Imperials. Also, the Chrysler Pentastar was to symbolize all five Chrysler divisions- Imperial, Chrysler, DeSoto, Dodge and Plymouth. However, by the time the pentastar made it to a Mopar fender, DeSoto was killed off and was replaced by Dodge Trucks.
  20. Sweet. Love them T- Birds.
  21. My first car was a Maverick. Unfortunately, it only had the 200 cube six. Your's is just gawjuss.
  22. I set my Canon Rebel on RAW. This gives me a pic size of about 4000x 3000 pixels. Shooting in RAW gives me the info before its compressed. Then, I can go into Bridge, edit my images in RAW, then transfer it to Photoshop. I then crop to 1200 x 889 pixels (108" x 80") and save as a JPEG at the highest resolution. Photobucket then resizes them. Always go for the largest pic setting in your camera, then edit the size down in post.
  23. Here's some of my faves from GT4; Nurburgring. That's me in the Cougar. Mercedes 300SL 1962 Buick Fomula GT. Apparently, my sponsor is John Deere.
  24. Got to love them Studes .
