These are the same car, the top photo is as it competed at Le Mans in 1963. It was modified several times during it's career with the bottom photo showing it's final iteration.

It was a one-off, the hardtop was later removed. The car was originally red but not sure if it remained that color when it received FIA style body panels. Looks like they may have just beat out the original fenders to widen them.

Thanks Ralph. No breadvan that I am aware of. HRM has (3) different hardtops styles in his trans-kit line (Le Mans, big window, small window). Not sure if he would sell the hardtops on their own but you could certainly ask.

The new Revell release is definitely the old Sunny kit. It is 1/25 scale in lieu of Revell's other 427 kit which is 1/24. I like the 1/25 scale kit as it fits in nicely with my AMT 1/25 scale 260/289 builds.
The same engine is in both kits, the AMT "289" on the right with the Tri-Y style headers and the Sunny "427" on the left. I don't use either engine in my Cobra builds.
