  1. If money were no object a Singer would definitely be in my garage Tim. The hard part would be choosing which one!! Maybe the DLS at a cool $1.8M?
  2. Sweet rod Dennis. Always liked the y-block exhaust manifolds.
  3. The upper body panel line ascends upward toward the front of the car, gives the illusion that the nose is higher.
  4. The panel gaps aren't enormous like most diecasts.
  5. Good stuff Daniel.
  6. Yep that is the old Sunny Cobra. It can be made into a FIA Roadster by reshaping to nose, filling to side pipe opening and creating the cut back doors.
  7. I would be very happy if they up-scaled the excellent 1/43 scale kit.
  8. Correct. The 427 body had the coil over suspension (see the Revellogram 427 Cobra), the Sunny kit is based on the original AMT kit which provides a transverse leaf springs chassis. Therefore the Sunny kit it is neither fish nor fowl. It can be modified to represent a FIA 289, 427 or an AC 289 but it doesn't represent any of them straight out of the box.
  9. If it is a re-issue of this kit it is intended to represent a 427 body. At the end of the Shelby contract AC Cars had left over 427 bodies but did not have the expensive 427 engines. They decide to install the small block 289 and sell them as "AC 289" https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/LF16/London/lots/r161-1967-ac-289-sports-cobra/384101
  10. Removed the rain gutters Filled the sunroof panel line
  11. Interesting color combination Ray, I like it. I'm sure it looked even better on your 1:1.
  12. Fujimi did Koenig Specials for the 928 and the 911
  13. Very nice Pete.
  14. Glad to have you along Leroy.
  15. Dann might teach us both how to build a better Porsche.
  16. I hadn't seen this episode, thanks for the heads up Dennis.
  17. Thanks Dennis. Yes Scale Production produces the distinctive RUF Speedline wheels. I will be placing an order. https://www.scaleproduction.de/product_info.php?info=p2270_17--ruf-speedline.html
  18. When you get your build started Pete I'll be happy to help if I can.
  19. Great builds Gary.
  20. The modifications are very similar to those of my 911 SCRS project. Here is the SCRS which has the much larger wheel flares.
  21. Modified the rear bumper: removed the ugly bumper guards and filled the resulting holes removed the rubber moldings The rear wing was modified from the RS3.0: grafted in the grille from the Turbo wing grafted on the rubber surround also from the Turbo wing
  22. Thanks Bruce With a little kit bashing and some scratch building the Fujimi kits can produce a lot of different 911 models. x3!!
