    Is the GT40 an original car or a reproduction? I ask because the rear wheels are much more narrow than what I am used to seeing on the Gulf cars.

    The Enthusiast kits are highly detailed. I have not built either of these yet but I have built several of the Porsche 911 EM kits. They can be a little fiddly but it is hard to beat the detail for a mainstream manufacture. I'll try to post some pictures of the parts trees when I get a chance.

    The AMT Thunderbird kit has usable slotted wheels.

    Thanks Trevor Real happy with how the wheels turned out Dann. I think my efforts more closely represent the 1:1. Thanks Duke Can't have too many Porsche projects on the forum Kurt. Get your 275GTS build done and get started on a another Porsche!

    I used Model Master Nassau Blue to represent Viking (Princess) Blue. Probably not dark enough for the GBR car.
