  1. Love the Stratos, nice work.
  2. Great work. The 917-10 was a beast, 1100 HP in a 1600 lb car!!
  3. Rest of the cage.
  4. Cages are tedius but making seat belts are even worse! Thanks Peter. Thanks Guy.
  5. I use solid rod (not tubing) and bend it with my fingers or round needle nose pliers. I then heat the bend over a candle to release the tension and set the shape. I melt plastic bits in liquid cement and use it as weld on the joints. Super glue can work too but can be brittle if you have to make adjustments. Various files help me cleanup the joint.
  6. Roll hoop.
  7. Thanks Tomo. He definitely was driving on the edge Shay. Thanks.
  8. I've tried to use a Dremell as a lath - no luck. Maybe it turns to fast?
  9. Very surprising how they survive such deep water.

  11. When I was building CSX3006 Steve was kind enough to send me a Big Block sheet he had on hand (with the problem) and some extra stripes so I could piece them together and finish my build. They are great decals!! These are applied straight on the paint with no clear over them.
  12. I think you could use those manifolds on a street/strip car especially for something set up more for the stock classes. As for custom headers It's not as hard as it seems. I have made several sets but I use solid styreen rod, working on the shape of each pipe individually. I find that while solder is easy to bend it doesn't hold its shape. You should give it a try. I won't post examples but if you would like to see some or have questions let me know and we can discuss it through PMs.
  13. I believe they are the NASCAR manifolds from the Johan '64 Dodge.
  14. Really like the wheel/tire combo.
  15. Its too bad they play up the shtick bit as I think they are good musicians.
  16. Haven't heard the tribute album but I do like Dread Zeppelin.
  17. No new progress, just restoring one of the pictures that isn't showing up.
  18. Thanks Tom for posting this. I added it to the Mopar Chassis thread.
  19. Mopar rear axle spotters guide info provided by Brutalform.
