  1. Very nice Danny.
  2. Don't have the kit but from what I understand it's the Valliant kit with different decals.
  3. I believe it was inspired by the lines of the 935
  4. "Devin Enterprises is an American automotive manufacturer that operated from 1955 to 1964. Devin was mainly known for producing high quality fiberglass car bodies that were sold as kits, but they also produced automotive accessories as well as complete automobiles. The company was founded by Bill Devin." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devin_Enterprises
  5. A trailer from the Midget Racer might make a nice motorcycle trailer.
  6. Cage looks great Kurt! I'm sure you will figure out a convincing way to attach the rear kicker bar.
  7. Nova looks good Lou.
  8. Not exact but some similar options HRM's Kidney Bean Halibrands
  9. Beautiful build Roger. Not a fan of over-sized wheels but I think they look good on the car.
  10. Chassis is come along nicely.
  11. Love seeing race cars used for their intended purpose rather than sitting in a museum.
  12. Very nice Gerald.
  13. Thanks Kurt. I personally prefer Evergreen, but my LHS stopped carrying it for a while so I had to switch to Plastruct. I haven't noticed much difference.
  14. I bend it with my fingers or round needle nose pliers.
  15. Thanks Brian. I pre-bend the section (I only use solid rod not tubing) I then hold the section over the candle until I feel the tension release - only takes a second or so. I hold the shape until it cools then the shape is set. It is definitely a trial and error method - I ruin of few myself
  16. What Ford Falcon is Erik from Moebius referencing? Not aware of Moebuis producing a Falcon.
  17. Phil Bonner (Daddy Warbucks) preferred match racing, said it paid better.
  18. I like the candle method. I've been successful fabricating some challenging roll cages and headers using it.
  19. For 1966: "Now added to the options list were the Koni shocks, the Detroit Locker differential, as well as the wood-rimmed steering wheel. More wheels were now available, the leftover cars having either the silver-painted steel wheels or the Crager mags, which both were also available on later produced cars. Standard wheels on the later cars were silver-painted 14 inch Magnum 500s, but the Hertz cars came with the chrome versions. More wheel options on later cars were also the 14 inch Shelby aluminum ten-spoke wheels and plain 14 inch silver-painted wheels. Most early cars came with hollow-letter Cobra valve covers while the later cars had solid letters and a black crinkle finish. " http://www.mustangspecs.com/years/66shelby.shtml
