    Thanks Dann. No progress on the Falcon but scored a super clean '63 Fairlane! Never a drop of paint on the entire model.

    Thanks Dann. Haven't had much bench time lately but did get the tin's hinge repaired. You can see the broken hinge (painted black) in the center of this photo. After reattaching it I added a piece of angle to reinforce it.

    I have several Porsche books by Brian Long that are excellent. Not familiar with this book however.

    The '64 Merc appears the have red interior trim. Not sure about the wagon's interior trim.

    So AMT '65 GTO is the consensus? No, the chassis is not correct for the the body which is a '65 Fairlane.

    So I checked the Moebius '65 against the AMT '64 and the wheel base is nearly identical. It's not a drop in fit for the Moebius chassis but doesn't appear it would take much work.
