My current 1:1 garage sleeping beauty. 1999 Trans Am convertible. I built the replica when it had its old set of heavy wheels.

Finished two builds this year. The Impala SS I built from a Snap tite. Tamiya wheels and tires and a Corvette ZR1 LT5 under the hood. Added alot of extras to it. The GT500 Bronco was a contest build. Full Mustang GT500 chassis, driveline, and interior. Custom widebody fenders and quarters from a BMW 3.0 csl. Tons of extras, took most of the year to build it.

Fast times at Ridgemont high. Looks good to me Dave. It appears you made a silk purse here. -
Those wheels are pretty awesome aren't they? Gonna look pretty awesome on there....you gonna paint the centers white to match?

Thank you Christian, the fender flares are from the Monogram Corvette Grand Sport kit.

This was another stalled (5 years stalled!!) project I pulled out and finished. Paint is all lacquer: Blue base is Deja blue with True blue pearl. White stripes are masked and painted. Wheels are c6 Corvette with large Brembos behind them, tires are from the Foose c7. Photoetch emblem, rear sidemarkers, and door handles. Oh yeah, I made the front marker lights out of clear grand sport markers sanded and reshaped because the Callaway markers are tinted. ? When taking on something this complicated there are bound to be fitment issues which was an understatement.....the chassis had to be stretched 3/4 of inch to accommodate the new wheelbase, which meant new exhaust, driveline, new interior which is c4 Grand Sport.....yada yada yada. Lol on to the pics

Thank you, when I came up with this project it was between a Corvette and a Viper roof. The GTS roof fit so well it became a no brainer. It is quite possible it was the WIP of this. This has been on the side for quite a long time, because of a work injury I have had a lot of time to finish stalled projects.

Looks good to me in pictures. I wouldnt sweat it too much. Quick tip for convincing wood grain: paint the pieces a glossy tan or yellow cream color, then use a brown Sharpie to simulate wood grain. It takes a little practice but the Sharpie will blend and create lights and darks.

This was a long term build. I grafted a Viper GTS roof onto the Series 1 body. Then designed and fitted a roll cage, driver, and data systems and wiring. The wing is from a Viper GTSR diecast but it is plastic. The front splitter is Evergreen with scale Motorsport carbon fiber. Rear splitter is Evergreen also. Wheels are from a Tamiya Taisin Starcard kit. Feels good to finally have it done.

Absolutely Scott, wouldn't hesitate. Very happy with my trade and the communication throughout. A+ trader

Nice clean build! I recently finished this exact kit myself! Used Fujimi wheels/tires, painted scripts.

Thank you for the reply and acknowledgement Cameron. I admit I did not understand what was going on ( it was the "not knowing" more than anything ) I am sorry to hear that things are a little rough on your end at this time. I have made trades with you in the past and things have always gone smoothly....I eventually came around to thought something must be going on. I look forward to receiving the kit....going to build a SV edition Modena Spyder. Thanks Cameron Ken -
