  1. Thanks guys.....and thanks JC. Used the front air dam from the Revell Civic hatch as a base to build off of, then modified it alot and smoothed it out. Have decided that this will be Al Holbert's car Dekon #1014
  2. Just completed a trade with gardnerpag44 (Paul). Great trader and great guy to deal with! Smooth, GREAT trade. Would definitely deal with him again!! -Ken-
  3. Hey tom, I would do the blue car wingless or a very mild lip wing if anything. Also, nismo stands for Nissan motorsports....not nitpicking, just wanted to throw it out there. I do really like these builds though!!
  4. Man, these are looking great Tom! I REALLY like what you are doing with these. Where did the white wheels come from? They are real nice.
  5. Very nice Tom! The color looks similar to Subaru Sedona red pearl. Love that color
  6. Way more precise too. I also do all my measurements in metric.
  7. Wow! Looking great already jc. Wish I would have taken your route with the chassis.....looks like a natural fit. Still have to do my rear interior panel section....thanks for the reminder (pictures).
  8. Can't wait to see this take shape Kerry, you have a great plan for this. Gonna be way cool!
  9. thanks jc, been using parts from that kit, a Tamiya Porsche gt3 race car, and a Nascar kit.
  10. Got some more work done on the roll cage......it does sit flush, I just have it sitting loose.
  11. Thanks guys for the comments and interest....progress has been slow going and a LOT of mockup is involved. Here is the recent updates. Got the interior close to done and the front end starting to take shape....still needs a lot of work but is starting to look like something.
  12. fully plumbed and wired like this one below
  13. No problem at all Steve......you really should get that thing back on the bench! I love me some monzas....the more the merrier!!
  14. Thanks Mike! So a couple of update pictures.....the cage so far and the headers (painted white then burnt to taste with lighter.)
  15. Jc was the first to start a thread on his build (and his will more than likely be better than mine) but here goes... I started my build last month. The kit I started with was the original at monza ss kit. I am going to build my car as one of the later models (phase 3 to 4 mostly) this will make it easier to distinguish it from others that were/are done. The wing uprights are scratch built, and the wing itself was borrowed from the parts bin. Wheels and tires are Porsche 935, engine is a 350 from the El Camino ss kit, cut off the transmission and replaced with the monza kit transmission, valve covers were parts box....stacks and eyelets were add-ons.
  16. I will have to start a thread later jc I am at work at the moment. Here is a phone teaser though.......
  17. Hey JC, great minds think alike. I am currently finishing up the cage/interior on my IMSA Monza build. I started with the Monza SS kit for my build. Will be watching with interest on your build.
  18. Absolutely gorgeous build! Paint is just magnificent!
  19. Great job on the 64 Erik! Really like the color!
