  1. Yep Craig, I have the 1/25 scale Stealth kit but the decals are too small for the 1/20 scale Lindberg Stealth. I want to build the lindberg kit as the car above but need the decals to be in the correct scale for this. Got the paint, got the detail stuff down, just need the decals.
  2. I would REALLY love to have a set of Indy pace car decals for the 1/20 scale Dodge Stealth.
  3. Thanks guys, I really appreciate the support! Hey Rob, I know what show you are talking about......it was a Lamborghini Countach LP500 done up like this. The main character had a little guy around him he called cursor. AUTOMAN!
  4. Always wanted to do this and finally pulled the trigger on it. Completed this in a weekend. I used the Monogram Lambo Diablo for my donor. Wheels/tires are from the Pontiac Banshee (because they had the right look for a future type build.) Paint was achieved by basecoating the entire car with white lacquer, then sprayed lightly with Krylon glow in the dark blue (thats right it glows in the dark too!), then using 3m blue painters tape I cut strips about 1/16" wide and went about applying.......sprayed over the body with high temp engine semi gloss black (decanted and airbrushed.) Let me know what you think!
  5. This is ridiculous! I am building a Custom Corvette/Elcamino right now and have gotten to the part where it is time to install the parking light lenses.....they are DARK smoke gray. WTH! How do you paint dark smoke lenses so you can see thru them the turn signal color?? You don't very well. Is there a kit out there that had clear lenses for the Corvette? I would very much appreciate the help on this. Thanks guys! Ken
  6. Which reminds me....I REALLY gotta get back on that! Thanks Len.
  7. I say True Blue pearl with white stripes Ray. (Viper GTS style) Good luck with the build.......for me I have always used this kit for parts (which it is great for!)
  8. What about the stock steelies painted gloss red? With those whitewalls that would look killer! + it would tie into your interior.
  9. Magnificent!!
  10. This is usually me....most times though I have multiple.....multiple
  11. On the Tamiya instructions above, it looks like the spindle that mounts the brake rotor is offset top to bottom slightly. If that is the case, you can also flip the spindles upside down and switch which side they are mounted on. Just a thought. I will have to check my stash tomorrow......I think I have the RE Amemiya RX7 race car kit from Aoshima down there.
  12. I am guessing that we are dealing with a 3rd generation here Bill. On the chassis shot above you can see the "92-15 RX7" which would make it a '92 efini RX7 or a '93 RX7 for u.s. market. The '91 and down 2nd gens had a Macpherson type front suspension (like Bill explained above).
  13. Sorry Bill, I should know better than to answer a topic on the day of the 4th 12 in a row. (12 hour day). At least we think alike in our solution.
  14. How about on the front just cutting the mounting pin off the spindle, drilling a hole in the spindle, and running a new peg for the wheel to mount on to. You can drill it at any height along the spindle cylinder to lower the front end without "monkeying" with the control arms.
  15. Exactly my friend, could not agree more.
  16. Beautiful job on your Cobra Erik!! Here is my build of this kit. Also was built to my wife's specs.
  17. Absolutely beautiful work Jeff! If you could get the size down a little to 1/12 scale.....man you would make some decent sales.
  18. Looking good Kerry! No problem on the turbos. Try solder in a larger size (Home Depot) to use for the exhaust pipe.....plastic doesn't like to play nice.
  19. OH BOY! Oh boy OH boy Oh boy!
  20. I did this by pulling a piece of satin tight around the seat (which was sprayed black prior) and then sprayed with airbrush a pearl medium gray thru the satin lightly. Looks ok.
  21. Just received my trade from Jeff Johnston, everything looks great and shipped fast! Would trade with him again for sure!
  22. Thank you Mike......was hoping when I cut the top off I wasn't going to regret it! Nope! your thoughts were exactly what I thought when I looked at it sans top.
  23. Picked up the new Stingray Snap tite and just had to cut the top off! Used an older Corvette convertible trunk to fill in the hole. A little interesting to get the lines to match and although the trunk lines don't match the 1:1 (no vents on the quarters of the convertible...) I like the look of it. Gonna paint it Toreador Red over HOK Goldmine Pearl. It will have the ZR1 brakes behind the wheels. Enjoy!
