Supposedly the dash is new and also the grill and front and rear bumpers.

Well I have the glass installed and rear view mirror so I will start the final assembly but first I detailed the windshield washer bottle which is now installed and then next will be the battery . I'm also thinking of toning down the brightness of the chrome plating on the windshield wiper arms before installing them because they just look a little to bright to me so I'll try toning down a piece of the chrome tree to see how they would look toned down a bit.

Just watched the review of the Revell 1969 Chevelle SS and Revell has knocked this one out of the ball park ! Looks like it is all new tooling and the decals are awesome which includes decals for the hood insulation. Watched the review on another model car web site.

Thank You Rusty ...... was able to get the glass, rear view mirror and the headlamp lamps in today so if all goes well next will be the firewall and radiator support.

Thank you Nigel & Bill ..... the GTO has a lot of chrome and yes foiling is not one of my favorite things to do but I think it came out ok.

I have finally finished the fun task of foiling the GTO which it took me around 7 hours to foil all the areas that have chrome so next will be to add the glass add rear view mirror.

Hello All and a Happy Farther's Day to all the Father"s here ! Well I have finally started the fun task of foiling the Goat today and I'm hoping to wrap up the foiling tomorrow sometime and then its time for the final assembly.

From what I have heard through two local Hobby Stores is that the Testers line of paint will eventually be phased out slowly and I also have had issues with the wet look clear and the colored lacquers coming out foamy.

Thanks for the info Bruce .....I did some experimenting with some spoons and I have come up with a new color Liquid Orange for my build of GT 40 which I plan to start in a few weeks.
