  1. Thanks Scott.
  2. You are welcome. The turbo kit is from Model Meister ,and need some clean up and sanding before it looks decent. Here are the parts in this kit. They also have complete engine with this setup and other japanese engines.
  3. Thanks. Painted the wheels today, used Alclad over black gloss Tamiya and turned out okay. I notice i should have done an attempt at use foil on reflectors on the headlights instead of chrome silver, but the instructions said chrome silver,oh well. Here is how it sit right now. Thanks for looking.
  4. Looking good and a cool story behind it. I like those window cranks in the interior,i assume it`s photo-etch?
  5. Excellent work. I would loved to have the engine in display on its own.
  6. I think it`s really cool you make it full detail.
  7. Great wheels and color,is going to look awsome when done.
  8. Looks very nice. Had no idea these where full detail.
  9. The wing was also hollow to save weight. Here is a little mock-up. The turbo is huge compared to the two stock ones. Comes in many separate pieces and also include a intercooler. This stuff need plenty of cleaning to look decent. Wheels make the tires stick out of the fenders with the original track,so here somthing need to be done, because i dont want any silly camber. The wheels are nice cast with minmum of flash. You can remove centers.
  10. Thanks for the offer Bill,i really appreciate it. If i dont get any respons on the previous suggestions i`ll send you a PM.
  11. Thank you Thomas, i will try and see if can get anything from there.
  12. Great work. Would love to have those pro-touring seats and Singer seats.
  13. Steven W Guthmiller posted these. Not sure if special order or avaliable for all. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=66689&p=1346202 Also http://vcgresin.atspace.com offers decals. I got the miscellaneous sheet.
  14. Exhaust looks good. Tried the same with the tips, had various results.
  15. Nice idea, will be tight between the firewall, but i guess this add to the fun of these swaps.
  16. Engine looks really good. Excited to see it with belt on,carbs and paint.

    70 Buick GSX

Sweet looking Buick. The wheels dont look as huge as assumed from the write up.
  18. Thanks. I was unsure about paint the whole senter black, but went with this,i think it looks better. Not an easy car to lower, but this will be the final stance, then there will be a little to go on before it touch at front. I`m trying my best to fix the lighs on this car,the headlight lenses where full of glue as with most other parts. I`m thinking about paint the headlight buckets black and foil them on the inside. The interior will get some flat clear treatment before i mount it,now its to shiny. Here is how it sits, the front suspension is fitted, the rest is just mock-up.
  19. Thank you for the suggestion Mike.
  20. Mine is the original issue where some kiddo with drag ambitions cut a big chunk out of the hood so the blower would fit. So i cut out the the remaining parts and ordered engine compartment from Missing Link. So now i`m looking for stock hood.
  21. Does anyone know if someone offers stock hood for the 64 Mercury Comet? The ones i have seen so far are the teardrop and the one with the huge air intakes in front. I need the stock one.
  22. There are at least 15 classic Ferrari`s i`d like to see kitted before the butt ugly FF.
  23. Nice progress,i like the idea of open it up full detail. Do you have an Oldsmobile engine for it?
  24. Great work on detail and weathering. This would be such a good candidate for a sleeper if it had a massive engine lol
