  1. Great job! Some of my most satisfying builds came from the parts box...
  2. Built one not long after they came out, great kit! You did what I "wanted" to do and it looks Fantastic! Might pull it "out of the garage" and get to work on it!
  3. Awesome! Now I got to pull mine out that's been residing in the closet .....
  4. Wheww! Mopar's guided missle with that stance! Just hated for the tires with all that downforce the wing is applying...
  5. One of the MPC Nascar series...bought that one when I was young. Wish they would reissue the series. Great restoraration and great looking model ya got thar!
  6. Wife worked for Hardee's Equipment Dept in 83. They chartered 2 bus to the Darlington race to see Cale race...best looking car on the track!
  7. You might need to go back and put the script "roadrunner" in bigger letters.....the Ford and GM guys were a tad farsighted and never could read what was pulling off and away from them...lol BTW I DO LIKE FORD AND GM !..... Just like Mopar more! 😛 You need to post the audio: rumpa ta rumpta ta rumpa ta...."
  8. Very impressed with the detail from which you got the kit and the additions you used to further enhance it, a visual delight....you done great on this one and the next one will be better. We are our own worst critics and if any disagrees, they haven't turned the corner yet. That is a paint job I would gladly pay for! Can't wait to see what come around the corner next...
  9. Well I was planning to do a "Red" Demon but looks like someone smarter than me beat me to it. Lol. Sweet looking! Back to the Color Charts....
  10. If you ever notice when seeing photos of people who owned such cars they had the wide tires and rims combo with the rear"jacked up". They're were more cars as such that look. Fantastic looking build!
  11. That's a Blue Ribbon winner, love the color choice of the interior!
  12. Awesome work. Definitely could not tell which direction it would be heading just by sitting still...
  13. Simply Beautiful!
  14. Good color choice, Always picture the 40 Ford black.
  15. Since the body is sprayed with red, masking off for the Gold and go from there....
  16. Use Tamiya masking tape to start at the top of the fender and follow the Chargers fender and character line to the rear. It's been a while when I built the #12 but if memory serves correct it was Testors Enamel Met. Gold. Once painted and decaled, I used Pledge acrylic floor wax to brush on. Self leveling, drys fairy quick (15 minutes) and if needed you can apply 2-3 coats. Easy to work with. Sent some pics to visually help out and feel free to reach out anytime... Chuck
  17. Definitely the West Coast vibe! That color would look great on a variety of different makes & models. It Rocks!
  18. A 68 Charger weight was at 3500 lbs and a 426 cid (7.2L) was rated at 425 hp. Compared to a 2013 Challenger SRT weighing at 4157 lbs with a 392 Cid (6.4L) rated at 470 hp. With your setup, 45-50 more hp and a weight loss of 650 lbs. shedded from the 13 Challenger SRT, the competition would be seeing red.....as in red taillights! That one is worthy of the Fratzog!
  19. Well I finally know what happened to that 56 Plymouth you got at the last model swap we went to. How did a kit you bought didn't end up in my bag when we got home is nothing short of unbelieveable. That looks Marvelous!
  20. Too Many Projects seems to be providing you with Way Too Many Projects....lol. That car had a trunk(and back seat space) you could fit the whole year of 1966 in and the New Years Party for 1967 in!. Always enjoy seeing what next...
  21. That's what Toretto would switch to if he decided to slow down, not stop and smell the rose fragrance air freshener.....
  22. Diggin that Cool Cat....
