  1. You can try Dave Dodge at MCW paint and resin kits. He has a good selection of 60's Mopar cars and parts. Good luck in your search; I hope this helps.
  2. If the glue stain is on the inside of the lens, you can sand and polish it out. Not too easy if its on the outside. Best bet would be to get a replacement lens. PS Welcome to the forum.
  3. Very nice find there. I agree it's 40 Ford, with some 37 front headlight pods added. Also a nice top chop. That isn't an easy thing to do. If it were mine. I would turn it into a 38 Ford. Nobody makes one!
  4. I think the stock parts will interchange between the stock and the AWB Tempest kits. They both are AMT tools.
  5. Wow! That looks REAL! Beautiful rendition of an iconic race car.
  6. I think Round 2 cannot afford new tooling yet, so they are just doing re-issues hoping to generate enough revenue for some new tooling in the future. Just my opinion. Hack-n-whack
  7. Thank you , Mr. Greg Meyers! Do you ( or anyone reading this board) have a release date for that Model A coupe? Just wondering? Hack-n-whack
  8. Is this model a Revell follow-up to their roadster kit? Is it 1/25th scale? Compatible with their earlier '31 sedan kit?
  9. Some neat stuff (pictures) there. Lots of kitbashing to make them in scale! Good luck to all who try.
  10. I would like to see some accurate 1/25th scale woodys. A 1932 Ford (from Revell, to continue their excellent line of Deuces. From AMT (Round 2) I would like to see a 1934 Ford (from their '34 coupe kit), a1936 Ford woody (from their latest '36 3-n-1 kit. Also a 1938 Ford by any kit maker. None has ever been done (any body style). Thanks for reading this. Am I alone with these wants? hack-n-whack
  11. Going to build a Sportsman ? Very cool conversion. One question; what to do about the tatllights? Scratch-build them too? Very nice build of your convertabile also!
  12. You might want to contact Dave Dodge. I think he makes a resin '64 Comet kit with a stock hood, as well as a teardrop bubble and a dual snorkel hood too. He's at MCW.
  13. Your work on that '34 coupe is just plain gorgeous! I hope you will continue to build scale street rod models. Everything looks real! hack-n-whack
  14. Did you use a primer or barrier (sealer) first? Or can you just shoot the paint on over bare plastic? Thanks for any help, as painting is an area where I need the most improvement. Tom
  15. If I were the CEO , I would produce a series of early thirties and mid thirties MOPARS. The same body can be used for Plymouth and Dodges,(probably De Soto's too). The first issue would be stock. The next would be a street rod version with a modern driveline and suspension. The third version would be early (jalopy style) dirt track and drag race cars. The accomplished modelers could turn the stock version into any variation they want just by raiding their parts bins. Each issue could be a different body style also ( coupe, sedan, convertible, and even a woody).
  16. I don't think the video-game crowd is going to care at all what we as modelers want. I don't care what they want either. I like to build model street rods and drag race cars and trucks. I'd like to see any mid-thirty's Mopars. They are naturals for 3-n-1's. Any Dodge, Plymouth, and De Soto fans out there ?
  17. Iggy&Seb have their own forum. They like junkyard and weathered models. They also offer tips and tricks. They do diorama stuff too.
  18. Very nice work! You should send a picture to Iggy& Seb. They would like to see your work.
  19. Hello and welcome! I'm also disabled and in Michigan too. Halfway between Detroit and Ann Arbor. I hope you like it here at this forum. .
  20. Did you think of lightening the Depot Buff with some white for a lighter shade when it's dry? This technique is a bit tricky, so try it on scrap before putting it on your masterpiece! Nice work so far.
  21. Nice job on that Nova. Da Grump would have been proud! With all that work on Grumpy's deep-sump pan, please don't forget a drain plug! Your model is coming along very nicely. Keep at it.
  22. That is cool. The look is timeless. Your choice of wheels and tires really set it off! Very nice!
  23. How come I have only one icon? Everyone else has three!

  24. Wow! That is super kitbashing and scratchbuilding all in one. It looks awesome. Please keep us posted with further developments. Thanks for the inspiration. You do excellent work!
