  1. That is one very nice Camaro!
  2. Cheating....me? Creative, yea, that's it....creative. I was creative. I love white race cars!!
  3. Glad to see this being discussed and welcome aboard Jantrix! I am one of the original 5 builders that started out at Gary Kulchock's house. (I know we are not the "original" ones that came up with the idea, but we are the original group for the current version.) Anyhow, here we are on our 8th year. I have had a blast all 7 previous years. I've managed to stay awake every year! . I always try to complete my build in the 24 hour period and I usually come very close. I think the main thing is just to have fun. The five of us have been long time friends and look forward to this event every year. I hope anyone who is thinking about joining in does. Those of you who have committed, I hope you have a great time. We originally just posted to Gary's Fotki site but now it has spilled over to FB. Anyone and everyone is invited to follow along and comment.
  4. I think she looks great for just your third model. You did a nice job on it.
  5. You should be fine Mike. I have ordered from them with no problems at all. I remember the turn around time was very good.
  6. I have to agree with you......that is one wicked looking Cobra. Soooo nice!
  7. Very nice! You don't see these very often. It is good to see one completed.
  8. I would love to see your display area. If this is just 2013, I can't imagine how many you have built in the past .
  9. Curt, you already know I am a big fan of your work. Is it any wonder?
  10. Wow!! Not a bad one in the bunch! That Mustang.....

Very nice Tom! You really have an knack for getting "the right look" on all of your models. This one is no exception.
  12. There is not a bad one in the bunch! They all look great. You do a great job showing them off with your photography.
  13. Very nice OC! Do you own stock in any decal setting solutions companies?
  14. She looks great OC! I always enjoy your work.
  15. I said it before and I'll say it again. This is the number one way I learn modelling tricks - WIPs. I really appreciate the time anyone takes to write up descriptions of what they are doing, take pictures along the way and post all of it on a website. Very cool Harry!!! Thank you for sharing.
  16. Nice, nice, nice!
  17. She looks good!!
  18. There is a ton of planning that needs to go into a build like this before the first part is cut from the tree. I will not clog up the this thread with all of the details, but it is, at this time, a little overwhelming to me.
  19. Thought I would share what I got for my birthday. I am a car modeler who likes to dabble into ships and airplanes. I now have three battleships. Here is the latest. I also got the Artwox wooden deck. And finally, the Lion Roar detail set. Unfortunately I don't think my skills are up to the task of using every piece in the Lion Roar set
  20. Very nice!

    69 Camaro

I think the photography makes an already great looking model even better! Nice job on both.
  22. I knew if I asked the question here I would get a wealth of info. Thanks again guys! I must not have been Google-ing the right questions. I kept getting answers about Cadillac's V8s that run 4-6-8 cylinders as needed. Most Ed Roth or Outlaw sites talked about the body and very little about the engine, other than it was a Caddy V8.
  23. Wow!! Answered in less than 14 minutes! Very cool guys, thank you!
  24. Yes, it is a Caddy. It appears that the center port is no larger than the others. I wonder how that works? It is kind of funny, I have never heard of this three pipe deal before. I guess I am not as smart as I thought I was......lol.
