  1. Good that I stocked up then.
  2. When getting to the stash, I noticed I have two too. When looking inside the box of one of them saw extra parts to update it with the 5.0 and taillites from the early 90s Cobra kit and some Aoshima wheels.
  3. Love it! Remember building with my dad a Monogram kit of it. Sadly it didn't survive, but thanks to Ebay thru the years I again got one and the Cobra version.
  4. Back in the late '80's Italeri showed 3 possible new automotive kit releases in one of their catalogs, but only one made it as a kit; The Volvo 760. The other two were a Jaguar XJ Mk I Series III and a BMW 7 series like you show in your post, Rob. Cheers!
  5. All 3 of the second generation Dodge Chargers would be neat to see as 1/12th scale kits.
  6. The info bout the Mustang came from the late Bill Lastovich, when I met him at (I think) the last RCHTA show...the part that maybe there was more of the same in the pipeline is pure speculation on my part.
  7. Think the first "snapper' from Revell-Monogram which was designed as a coss-over, was the WOF '10 Mustang convertible, maybe more was in the pipeline....
  8. Well as you know Dave, wandering off topic is just the way things go sometimes, one can go further into it or ignore and answer/ add to the original topic. But is it realy off topic, guess we will see, when next months releases are announced Anyway as long as things don't go sideways. I don't mind. But the final decision on such matters lies by those who manage this forum. Cheers Luc
  9. True, but it sheds some light on what the short/long term implications could be for our niche of the hobby. Cheers Luc
  10. Les, I think we all want to talk about something else, but the truth of the matter is that it has a serious impact on the hobby we love and certainly for the people who work at/for Round-2, Moebius, Revell USA, etc....
  11. Indeed. At best it will slow down future investments from manufacturers of which the US is the primary market but manufacture in China.
  12. Well if these Chinese, American designed kits become "unsellable" in the US, they may divert that slow boat towards the EU, Ha! 😉
  13. An all new '69-'70 would even be better, a clean start for many versions....
  14. Remember as a kid having a modelkit of this one, but don't remember which manufacturer and if it was a two or four door.
  15. Maybe a chance to see the Bad Boyz 'vette decals available again?!
  16. Picked the following up at a local hobby show. Neat items IMHO
  17. Heard today that a hobby distributor and a vendor who orders directly from the USA, both from the Netherlands are dropping Round2, Moebius. Revell USA and Salvino's. because they feel due to the extra charges, US kits will be a very tough sell, if at all. A model kit dealer I recently spoke with said, that a Savino's kit would be over €100 (about the same in USD) retail. Oh well.
  18. Wonder what the body of the same era Revell Venice designed Bronco looks like, dimension wise. For using it to convert an 93ish amt Ford F150 to a Bronco.
  19. Ditto, and if yes please with clear headlamp lenses 😉
  20. The problem IMHO is that there is no track record on these and it could very well be that if one company dares to put out some 70's C- body, or a mid '70 Ford wagon, it " might" sell like hot cakes, cuz one has to realize that nostalgia is a powerfull thing, which flashes over the bad. 😉
  21. Pure speculation on my part, but maybe they're looking into improved reverse engineering on that one and who knows they might include the sister car as well Cheers Luc
  22. The blue Linberg one is what I will be using Mark. BTW I'll probably will have to redo the upholstery of the bench, anyone who has photo's of what it should look like? TIA Luc
  23. Wonder how the roof on 1/24 snap-tite kit is....
