  1. Design is always a subjective thingy, some are timeless other look great at first but age badly even after a short while. Then you have the ones which grow on you, but also those of which one thinks, what were they smoking! In the end. sales will be the decisive factor. To me Lamborghini has the best super car design, like the sharp lines. What would be yours Tim? Cheers Luc
  2. Decal sheet of the euro boxing
  3. Bought a copy at a to me local hobby store in Antwerp, cleared my workbench of all ongoing projects, just to try some dry fitting checking out the feel of this kit. So far I'm impressed, great engineering!
  4. Have to agree, the wheels on the box-art turned me off too. Only looked skin deep so didn't know about all the neat stuff underneath. Will look out for this release..
  5. Yes, the Pro-Shop version...
  6. Hi Gents, Wondering if there are wheels that you would like to see replicated in scale, style doesn't matter, factory stock, custom.... Please when answering also include a photo. Thanks!
  7. I see you sanded off the vents from the C-pillars, probably cuz the engraving isn't the best due to an odd choice of top to side cavity design by mpc back then. If Round-2 ever considers bringing this one back I'm hoping they design a decal to make it look a bit better.
  8. Is this also a possibility, or too new?
  9. No need to, Dave Van gave the answer.
  10. Had to google it, but yes indeed Bob, it would've been neat if produced. Photo courtesy of Motor Junkie 20 Ford Mustang Prototypes That Didn’t Make It To Production – Motor Junkie (motor-junkie.com)
  11. But with the earlier round headlights grille then, that way it differs some more, from the Amt offering, and with the retool they improve it by adding clear lenses. Could be a great BAJA racing or dirtbike service van. Just my 2 cents
  12. The reason I asked is, because I'm wondering if this time Revell includes the C-stipes or not. Thanks for the report, James!
  13. Any chance they have a copy of decal sheet on display?
  14. Everything you wrote and more!
  15. Sorry, don't remember. If Steve G. drops in, he might.
  16. The T-Bird is a big trip down memory lane; 2003 the Hobby Heaven Party at Dean Milano's toy and model kit museum in the same weekend as I-hobby. Remember Steve Goldman showing 2 build test shots of this kit and later on I learned from him, that certain engine bay parts didn't, get approved from Ford thus were omitted from the kit as released. Now I wonder if these parts were just blocked off from the tool or that the cavities were reworked. Cheers Luc
  17. Well how long is it now since the Belgian manufacturer Belkits released their first WRC kit? I think the key here is, that certain manufacturers still tread this hobby as toys and are still trying to get kids involved with lots of investment but rarely with success, while others do not and take an all different aproach offering nice qualiy kits to adults who have interest in building models of subject matter they prefer and that's where the money is. Another example look at how many all new military kits are being released, don't think kids are building these either, heaven forbid if their parrents would find out ?
  18. Could be wrong but I think since the late '70s, model kit manufacturers try to get get kids into model kit building again, with mixed results. Think it's safe to say that this hobby in general is a 40+ pastime. But anyway, just what I think. Cheers
  19. A couple years ago they updated the '77-'78 Dodge Monaco and now are bringing this one back, which means both cars from the series Hunter. Staring Fred Dryer and Stepfanie Kramer are again available.
  20. I don’t have an earlier cab, if you do please compare the both, if they all have it, mpc at the time missed it from the get go, and the myth of the annuals were correct goes out the door Anyway it is what it is…….unless a company tools up a whole new series of kits from this generation trucks.
  21. Well you have to look at it at this way, Mpc back in the day, started with a mid '70s Chevy, and updated the tool to follow the anual GM design changes, but there is only so much one can do with existing cavities, cus cutting all new steel is expensive. Anyone here who has a 76 Jo-Han Cadillac Eldorado also can notice how that tool was updated from a '71 thru the years. Cheers Luc
