Lowered with Johan Superbird NASCAR rims. Added some stainless screen behind the grille and aluminum exhaust tips.

I’ve been looking for 3 years for more info or pictures of this car to no avail.

That is a future build for sure. I’m trying to do all the 72-3 body Torinos that raced NASCAR.There is one Torino that I want to do that a good picture eludes me. That’s this one This is the only picture I’ve seen of it.Not much to go by.

As you should. I still need to get the David Ray Boggs set from you.

That is the camera playing tricks on our eyes. That is a 72 formal roof from Motor City Resin. It was tooled from the samebody as the orange one behind it.

Got some more done on it. Basically box stock with the exception of being lowered about 3/16 of an inch and old Johan NASCAR Superbird rims. Looking to put some bullet center caps on it.

Here’s more standard roof cars. I wouldn’t waste another cutlass roof on this I would cut the back half of a reissue MPC NASCAR Laguna roof off. The qtr window is already the right shape just needs the louvers removed. -

Earnhardt drove one once or twice. The only Earnhardt car I’m interested in because it is a Buick. He drove one with the Monte roofline most of the others were the slopey back roof. -

Larry you should do the other roofline Century too. Or maybe Regal! -
The first Moebius kit I’ve built. WOW what an excellent kit. Totally out of my norm. Probably the third fifties car I’ve built in 45 years of model building. Turning out to be one of my favorites ever.

I do that all the time but I respace the center two header pipes to be more like a Chevy
-
Mid 70s would probably have been rear steer.
-
I don’t know if the pans look the same but I do just that on my builds. The headers for Chevy engines can be a fit problem too.

If you get another set spray a couple light coats of Testors 1261. Clear on them before using them. This will help hold them together.

It fits fine I put one under a Johan Superbird no problem. -
Try Polecat Decals he may do that set.

Mark it is really pretty easy. I paint the floors gray first. Then I mist some black on from about 18" away. Then do the same with the white. If it ends up looking to white and black mist a little gray on from 18". This is what I use.
