Here’s another K100c to K100e change. It looks like the slightly raised center section of the roof above the cab on the C models was eliminated for the E models. It may still be there, but it’s, at least, greatly reduced. I think this holds true for both the Aerodyne and the Flat Top models. It’s the area right below the center three clearance lights. It’s hard to find good reference photos, but here’s what I’ve got so far. I’d still like to find a high-angle shot of the E model roof. Why are we always taking photos of tall trucks from the ground! ?

Certainly looks better with the white western star fenders. Closer to a Marmon.

I agree, as I’d like to do a K100E conversion someday. These parts would go a long way to making that happen. Besides, I think there was one or two overlap years where the C model could be had with square headlights.

Wow, a Powerliner crew-cab rotator. Excellent. I’ve always thought cabovers look good as wreckers. This one will look really good.

Love it! Worth the extra time it required, I’d say. You don’t see a whole lot of these built, especially any that go beyond a box-stock paint scheme and detail. Nice paint design and detail upgrades. Blacked-out wheels are a fine touch, too.

Love the twin turbos on the 8v92. What a sound that would make!

Nice. The paint scheme reminds me of the Horseless Carraige trucks. Dodge Brothers is interesting, too.

Paint scheme shows off the double bunk really well.

Not bad at all for 50 years old. Be sure to show some post-rehab photos. The canvas cover is a nice addition. I agree, it’s too bad there’s not much else available in fire apparatus models.
