  1. Beautiful model. I really enjoy the paint scheme.
  2. Sorry, my comments including “what country do you think this is” are a couple of funny lines from the movie.
  3. Looks like another fantastic kit from A&N. All of their products are some of the best quality, if not the best, offered in the aftermarket, with finer detail than any mainstream market offerings. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for - very high quality, extremely accurate, super detailed, unique subjects. Personally not into the Aussie trucks, but I’m looking forward to the next North American kit, whatever that will be.
  4. Excellent job on an iconic car from an excellent movie. ”Excuse me, do you speak English?” ”What country do you think this is?”
  5. Nice work. For anyone wanting to print stretch parts, this looks like the way to go, in my opinion. I like the tabs that fit inside the kit frame rail, and the overall strength is a huge plus. Are you printing extra crossmembers? I would think anyone buying a stretch kit would want extra crossmembers, too.
  6. Tell us about those pedals. They look great, amongst so many other nice details.
  7. I think there would be interest in these. I’d say they’d need to be longer than your typical kit, because otherwise, just use the kit. So, 14”+ would probably be the target. 16” would be real nice. I like the idea of a little front detail and/or profile where they narrow for the engine, then straight and plain all the way back, cut to the length you want. Rhino on EBay had some styrene rails available. I think they were 24”. I purchased a pair for a really long scratch built/kit bashed chassis project and another set to cut up for frame extensions because they matched the height of the Italeri Peterbilt 378 rails. I’d have to say that the market for frame extensions may be a little larger, as I think a completely scratch-built chassis and/or pair of frame rails is not as common as a basic stretch. MTB has some nice looking stretch sections for the Revell 359 and w900. Something like those for the Italeri kits, both the standard Freightliner frame and the Pete 378 could be popular. I haven’t purchased these yet, but I would feel better if they had a long tab that would fit inside the kit’s rails for a good inch or so for strength, rather than relying solely on 1/2 of the crossmember at the joint. Either way, whole lengths of frame rails or stretch sections, I would be interested, especially if they were stronger than the typical kit rails.
  8. Maybe the Cummins was rebuilt in a shop that was out of tan but had a bunch of leftover DD green? Anything goes.
  9. Oh, that seat is the best part. Great work.
  10. This will be a fantastic dio. You’ve already got a great start with the brick walls and great weathering. Will you have remnants of the abandoned rail siding? A segment of mostly buried rail, overgrown weeds. That would be neat.
  11. What a great build. I will be sure to enjoy watching it come together.
  12. Definitely looking good so far. I’m going to have to give that Revell chrome spray a try.
  13. Nice! I like the extra side windows.
  14. One of my favorite cabovers. You’ve done an excellent job. I love the paint. What a beauty!
  15. A unique build and a great combo. They compliment each other nicely.
  16. I’ve been really enjoying watching this come together!
  17. X2! Offering an alternative (correctly designed) 71 series cab option with the wider cab, grille, etc. in itself it would be an improvement over the Series 61 cab we have now - with the headlights at the incorrect height (How did AMT screw that one up??) and the multi-piece cab. Could do the later model grille and square headlights, too.
  18. For my truck builds, I often use aftermarket wheels and tires so having them roll is really not an option. Even an out of the box build is often better when I ensure it doesn’t roll because of common fit issues. I also like the added “shelf-security” and “anti-child-theft” features of non-rolling wheels. ? A while back, I remember being bummed that wheels wouldn’t roll. And then I realized the benefits. It’s funny how we like the wheels to roll, but don’t complain that the wheels don’t steer, doors don’t open, etc. It’s similar to how I wonder why people will throw a fit about the tires not being rubber, yet all of the other materials of the model are plastic instead of real metal, glass, leather, etc. Resin and 3d printed tires can be finished just as realistic or even more so. They’re strong and they don’t rot. It’s not like we put air in them. Who cares what type of material it is as long as it provides for the most realistic finish and practicality for models?
  19. This makes sense. I was wondering why they had such basic-looking box art in that era.
  20. Excellent paint scheme, what a wonderful model.
  21. Beautiful truck. Gorgeous black finish. I’ve seen this 3d kit, but this is the first I’ve seen completed. Excellent build
  22. Odd they didn’t put the decals on the box art model.
