Always wanted this kit, looks like I don't have the skills or patience to do it justice, so I'll just enjoy yours... looks great!

Good recovery with the paint bleed. No matter how many builds we do, there are always setbacks. Great detail on the spoiler strut alignment, it's going to be a killer build -
Thanks Nigel!

Superb build! there's love in the detail here! -
Another kit that has been started over the last 2 months is Tamiya's Nissan Silvia. Its not a car I remeber on the roads in the UK in the 80s or 90s, but it kinda looks cool from that era. Its a simple curbside kit. I do really dislike the moulded in exhaust and transmission in the chassis, but hand painted with Tamiya Acrylics and then coated with semi matt clear means it looks acceptable. I'm building straight from the box, I'm not even adding the usual belt and buckles, I'm keeping this one nice and simple. I'm also going to try out these new Tamiya Lacquers for the body shell, it'll be finished in 2 tone silver and gun metal. The only annoying thing to do was to fill in the back of the seats, these take time to do with plasticard and filler - then multiple sanding & re-filling events... Next up is assembly and spraying the body.

It's a great build, it looks like it's stood the test of time too

This is not Tamiya's best engineered kit, but you've done well with it. Like you say, interior looks fantastic, engine bay looks great too. Looks like you may have painted the bonnet with more coats than the rest of the body, agree with the window mask comments too, free hand only works when there is a moulded-in recess or guide. Still a great looking kit!

Hey, this looks better as a street racer than in the original livery... sharp build, and nice colour, suits it. -
