Cliff, I was going to ask how you did the black bits on the body, looks like you painted black first then masked to do the body colour. I'm really struggling to do it the other way around... -

This was primed, filled, sanded, primed, with Zero microfiller & Tamiya putty. Then a few coats of Tamiya white primer from a spray can Then Tamiya Red from the spray can Followed by several light coats of Tamiya gloss from a spray can. This is my first time using Tamiya Sprays ILO an airbrush. It required a lot of sanding (high grades only) and polishing. Its still scratchy, not shiny, but shiny enough for me (my perfectionist days are long over. Now the finicky bit of masking and painting black bits on the body, this is going to take some time! -
Thanks Sonny, Dennis & David! It took me ages to mould a new front windscreen to fit the curvature required, about 8 attempts by heating up clear plastic from choclate packaging with candles, mostly melted or scorched. Finally got one close enough to build with & this is the final result (after a lot of white PVA glue to hold the glass in place. Next up will be finished piccies.

So this one is nearly done, only got to add the final 10 decals and it'll be in the finished section...
