  1. Taken apart, the clear parts were sanded, polished, waxed, redid the eyeliner, the lamp units had to be sanded and re-sprayed. Back to where we were!
  2. Looking forward to the Ferrari! How your fiber gets better soon
  3. Thanks Dann, yet another build giving me heartache. Made a rookie mistake, I did glue in the headlamp lenses with PVA, then u messed up and put the light cluster in with CA, and it fogged up... Well be taken apart and sanded...
  4. Closures are a nice addition to a kit, but they can cause trouble! your car still looks amazing!
  5. That chrome detailing is very sharp, Looks stunning!
  6. Looking Good Dann, another one close to the finish line... Good tip mixing pva with acrylic on the buckles, and an excellent save on the flocking. My flocking Congress out similar to the one in your first image - I can blame the material now!
  7. Cool looking car!
  8. Only thing left now is to pick out the black and aluminium details on the shell... Then final assembly!
  9. Unfortunately, when taking the Tamiya tape off, it pulled some of the clear coat with it... But I'm not looking for perfection here. I went ahead and clear coated - this time with zero 2k. It came out far from perfect, but to my eyes, it's s save!
  10. Thanks Slush! I have sanded the underside from 400 grit to 1000 grit Tamiya wet and dry Then masked for touching up the black where I'd sanded through the base coat to the primer.
  11. Superb, sparkly and gangsta all at the same time...!
  12. Amazing detailed work here! Super cool model!
  13. Came out perfectly, no dust! Them masked to do the bottom side with 1k zero Disaster! I'm going to try to send it out.
  14. As is often the case in this hobby, 3 steps forward, one step back! I thought about how to mount the rear spoiler for clear coat. I failed at one attempt to mount on the recesses and spray it all in one go. It kept falling off from the pressure of the airbrush. So, I did the top side first, masked and did the bottom after. Top side with 2k zero seen here
  15. Looks stunning!
  16. Alex, your rx7 is stunning! Weird how yours didn't have an engine. That blue really pops! Great tute as well on the photo set up
  17. Beautiful clean and shiny Camero!
  18. You are right on the plastic body, it looks great unpainted, and the colour suits the car. Classic lines, it's a lovely build...
  19. Hey Matt, that's a stunning and realistic looking Jag!
  20. A really prosperous lock down! All your recent Tamiya builds have been a joy to follow! Your car collection is German heavy but looks stunning!
