  1. This is my kind of build, I love daily runners, looks great, very realistic
  2. I hope that's royal blue! It's a great build, there was one of these at my local Screwfix a few years back, it was a huge car! I couldn't believe it.
  3. Purple is my favourite colour, and I like the clean lines of your subject, cool build!
  4. The distance on these is high anyway, but I think that's a muscle car thing, right? What stops the bonnet from sitting flush? Still a nice build, and I love the colour
  5. That's a cool build, I like the way you can leave the body off, the details are great!

  17. So with a bit of patience, some Alclad Dark Aluminium, and some Tamiya X-18, I've finished the chassis. I orginally coated the chassis with Zero Gloss 1K, this makes a smoth surface that other paints do not stick to, so some areas did peel when I removed the masking, and so I've touched up by hand (i may have to remask and spray tho... Following this, the only painting left is seatbelt buckles & the body shell... so assey will start soon
  18. Chassis was painstakingly masked, I did the front end and front wheel wells earlier in the week, today its the drive-train
  19. Thanks Bruce, I've busy on this! some progress, and agree that it's a pain that some of the engine is moulded in, it makes it far more difficult to paint. First, the seats, I wanted a splash of orange in the interior, so I've put some Tamiya X-6 Orange. It's a bit bright, but I think it's better than a dull interior. Masked ready for the X-18 Semi gloss black
  20. I can't believe haw good your paint finish is! it's a great car, and cool mods...
