A few more updates, the wheels have been de-chromed, it took several months in brake fluid... the interior is now primed with Alclad II white.

Thanks all for the comments, the PE clips are cable ties from Crazy Modeller, I just cut them down...

Great build so far, always wondered the same REF the p/e number plates...

Looks great!

Thanks, I'm going with beige interior and white exterior... a few more updates, engine ready for installation, but need to start on the interior first...

Made lots of progress. The reason it took so long was that for some reason I took ages to deal with the sink marks and seam lines by filling with different fillers. I ended up getting some Mr Putty, and it's not great, but moved on... lots more to post soon. Used alclad II for the aluminium & airbrushed X-18 for the chassis. But used Tamiya silver for the engine cage.

I like thus kit and your version of it, cane out great considering the kit's age...

Nice subject, and good luck with that long list of subjects to learn...

Really great build so far, love this car...

Excellent start, and great detail, this is my kind of build!

The Chassis is now complete, the only issue was the exhaust position, it was too high & offset to one side. I made a simple washer out of plastic & it sorted it out. I conducted another spoon test. The photo is not good, but the spoon on the right is under-coated with Tamiya silver spray, and the paint has been filtered through some tights, and thinned with Lacquer thinner. There are some large dark spots, but it'll do... The tyres' flash was removed with this dremel thing, it made a bloody mess everywhere, and I almost lost the thread. A bit of diluted Indian Ink lifts the details on the wheels... just the body left now.
