  1. Overdid the wash on the seats, Alclad Satin does not work as a good base to wash over, the acrylic paint doesn't come off it... Dashboard Finished & just need to re-spray the seats. Chassis is ready, did it n basic black and it's mostly assembles now. The Exhaust positioning was way off, I just cut a spacer and attached it. Lucky I caught it before gluing! test fit everything if it's not a Tamiya kit!
  2. Impressive window replacement. thanks for positing the detail, I may have to do this myself soon!
  3. Another killer build for your display cabinet! looks great...
  4. Really neat finish, really like the subject too.
  5. No additional experience required, this is a great kit & well executed! Love it...
  6. Like the colour scheme & great build too!
  7. Nice clean build, hope your wife is better now!
  8. Hi, great conversion! Turned out nice!
  9. What do you mean ' nothing to see here' I think it's a great vehicle, and really well finished! I love it!
  10. It's a piece of artwork combined with engineering! Love it
  11. Ash, this looks great, like the mods!
  12. Very shiny, very nice!
  13. It would take me 8 hours just to strip parts off the spurs, well done!
  14. I've bought loads from them, and they're great. Expensive shipping, but then again shipping is expensive! They have never had everything in sick that I have wanted, and they don't allow me to order everything, then wait for it all to come into stock before shipping. By the tune one thing comes into stock, some of the other things have gone out of stock... And as shipping is dear, I tend to build up what I need...
  15. I use the thin Tamiya glue all the time, but never for clear parts. When you do use it, you add a little bit close to where you want it, and it draws into the joint. Be careful that it doesn't get drawn into areas that you don't want it to go. It follows a path, there is no other control. Good luck!
  16. Did anyone else see the Spanish grand prix this weekend? I thought it was great, going to be a great season, hope it goes down to the wire, and also hope my man Hamilton wins... Also looking forward to Alonso in the 500, looks interesting!
  17. Good luck! I could never have the patience to redo something I'd already finished! Enjoy...
  18. Front seats have been filled, sanded filled and sanded about 5 times now, so it's holding up completion of the interior. Also the filling on the body bumpers is slowing me down again, I feel like it's 1 step forward 2 steps back with filling & sanding... Anyway, lots of masking, and spraying for the 2 tone interior. And cut off the tailpipes for some alu tube...
  19. Sweet ride!
  20. Thanks! Thankss to, it is nail polish thinned with laquer thinner Thank you sir! I've finished it now, just waiting for the number plates to be added, then it''' be in the finished section. I too didn't like the wheels, too small, and not low profile enough...
