  1. Love it!
  2. Love this kit, coming along fantastically!
  3. Looks great so far, the top of the engine looks convincing considering you scratch built it...!
  4. Some progress! But I'm still not having much luck with the black wash, these seats will have to be resprayed. I've never had a problem with Tamiya decals before, but these ones fall apart with just a nudge with a brush. Both the main dials fell apart & it was a struggle to get them into the dash... Next step is to flock the interior or start on the body
  5. these details are great, but the car is worth it!
  6. great start
  7. Top notch this build, looks hard to distinguish from the real thing.
  8. Turned out quite nice!
  9. Great finish!
  10. Great finish, I like it!
  11. Great build! I like the paint job, a real sharp finish too
  12. You can't post a real car here... Only kidding, it looks great though.
  13. That silver box is strange, but the rest of the truck is sweet, great weathering!
  14. Fantastic truck! I love how the paint looks to scale & the details are near perfect!
  15. This truck looks real in these out-door shots...
  16. Amazing truck & detail! If it was weathered more, it would look like a real vehicle.
  17. Looks Great! I like the paint job... although I'm not a big fan of those decals... Are they from the kit?
  18. This is the body with the Boston Green Touch up paint applied. It's Filtered through some old tights - due to heavy dark sediments. Not sue if that's part of the colour, or it's a defective mix. It is also diluted quite a lot with lacquer thinner (Tamiya brand) It has 1 mist coat, then 2 medium coats, then a few days drying, a light sanding with 6000 grit cloth, which went through to the silver substrate, then 2 more medium coats. It's a strange colour, it looks really dark, but held up to the light and after a photo, it looks great. Not so great in real life, it's too dark. The spoon is coated with Zero Paints 1K clear. It's had 1 mist coat & 2 heavy coats. Looks great to me. give it a week & I'll be applying the clear...!
  19. Amazing so far...
  20. Thank you Dann! One more bit of progress, the wheels have been coated with 1K clear from Zero Paints, - they came out quite nice!
  21. Great build on this. I have one in the stash, but the interior of this snap kit is awful... You have done the car justice tho, and nice mods!
  22. One of my favourite cars, love it...
  23. Thanks all for your knowledge, it's insightful. When I mentioned 1k, it was in reference to a product that digests through an air brush. So I still have that element of control. But I get the picture with the ddifferent thicknesses and ability to polish... Thanx
  24. Fantastic build so.far!
