  14. Thanks Skid, engine & chassis are my favourite parts, I really struggle with a good finish on the body! Update - now that I've gotten over leaving the flocking as it is (was tempted to try & redo), I've started to build it up. Will start on the body soon.

  16. Cool, thanks, I was wondering if anyone has any experience of the same issue...
  17. Hi guys, thanks for taking the time, a few answers to your questions: The body has been primed with zero grey, then a few coats of Tamiya aerosol silver, then bmw touch up paint applied by airbrush. Then several coats of 1k clear, not polished. Now I want to add black plastic trim details, and always struggle with adhesion of the Tamiya acrylic over a glossy finish. I cannot get testors acrylic here in the UK, but I may try the Tamiya spray option. I know that one can decent, I've never tried it myself... Thanks for the help!
  18. Hi, I have previously painted my acrylic black over a clear coat (zero 1k), only to find that it doesn't adhere too well. Meaning that it doesn't take much to scrape off by accident. So I was considering roughing the surface with sand paper first. Any advice out there? What did you guys do? Cheers
  19. Cool, great finish with the polish and lapping.
